WebNations: Is there any way to download the emulator movie file? I can only find the encoded movie. There was a movie I wanted to download, but after seeing the first part online i quickly changed my mind. I thought I'd ask anyway.

羨ましいのは外国語が上手なことでしょ? 漢字マズイね・・・ (Probably he's envious that you speak a foreign langauage so well. But who knows, maybe gocha's first language isn't Japanese either?) On topic: Yeah, that's one amazing mirror.

ShowTime?... How creative. I like Angerfist better.
Fully noted. Note that whenever I submit a run, It'll be AngerFist so that creature is still a bit inside me :P Now all I need now is a kickass avatar that relates to my nickname and my cyberlife will be complete.
How about a Picture of the WWE wrestler the Big Show.
Look, how many quotes! I win!
Not so fast. AngerFist... you'll never be anyone else than AngerFist to me. *sniff*

I get desynch at about 22 seconds in. You run into some townspeople and get stuck.

I also vote yes. Rewatched it after seeing it in the Batman topic yesterday, and it's still intersting and fast, minus the autoscrollers.

KRocketneo: Yes, you are correct. I added "One player controls two characters" to the categories. Congratulations on your first useful post. :)

It has improved a great deal since the version I saw (namely, wall jumping and wall passing). The autoscrollers are not that interesting of course, but it's quite possible people will think it's okay overall.

ventuz: No, it should be o-te-u. It's not katakana (see Boco's link), so you cannot expect to be able to understand it, since it's not an imported word. To read and understand words and sentences in hiragana you actually have to know Japanese. Some katakana words you might be able to decode would be ファイア サンダー ナイト マジック etc. I have no idea if these words appear in X2, I just took some easy RPG examples.

Wrong, not 50,000 bouns points, 51 hit bouns if you hit all the switches and shoot the switcher, otherwise, if you take out the train boss, you'll get 11 Hit Bouns depending on the time you'll beat the train boss. If taking so long to beat the train boss, the bouns hit will be degraded from 11 hit bouns into 6 hit, 4 hit, 3 hit, 2 hit, or 1 hit bouns.
Fascinating. ... it's called "bonus", by the way. I thought you should know.

Something tells me KRocketneo thinks this place is a review site for games... or posts. It appears KRocketneo (I speak in third person because it's obvious he's not listening to anything anyone writes to him) thinks he's making a useful addition of information in ever topic he writes in, even though everything he says is 1) A repetition of what someone else wrote, or 2) Something so obvious that noone who has ever played the game already knows about it. Wow, cool trick. Not sure I like taking the secret ending (which is pretty much a joke), but there's nothing wrong with the style of play at least. The Japanese version is... hm... feels like you're playing on Easy. I don't think this should obsolete our current run, but a run to any of the four standard endings should. Dromiceius: I remember reading that using 2 players increases the health of the bosses. It's not impossible that adding Browny helps though.

This reminds me of that typical forum behaviour posted in off-topic. Something along the lines of, the longer a "last post evar!!!" post is, the less likely it is that the person who wrote it will actually leave.

Here's a one-to-two minute timesaver: after the water boss, use the warp back to the town instead of running. :P

>Because if we take that approach, and later we have a real SMS emulator, we will have to redo every SMS run made on that emulate-an-emulator approach. Or alternatively, have SMS runs on the site that require different emulators to play. We have had this situation with Famtasia in the past. It might be that we don't want to make the same mistake again, but without Famtasia this site wouldn't exist, probably. A bad solution can be better than no solution. >In any case, it is an unauthorized hack (drSMS is not an approved hack here). If you replace hack with emulator in that sentence, I agree.

Everyone can equip the legendary sword - actually everyone can equip everything. Everyone except the dragon is needed in the final dungeon, but Hawk man fights the boss so damage is only important for him. Small addendum: you need 250 gold to buy a key somewhere, I think. So it won't be completely money-collecting free. EDIT: Found me a password and checked out. Lion - Legedary 245 AP, Muramasa 250 AP Hawk - Legendary 210 DP, Heavenly 220 DP For everything else the Legendary equipment is best in all categories. I severly doubt that getting any of the other equipment is worth your time.

>... usually effective strategies (i.e. two players with spread) are bypassed because of lag. This is not the reason, if you read the description. The spread is slower than the regular weapon for the base levels. I agree that having them do the same thing sometimes is a bit bland, but I think it can't be helped.

>Though someone mentioned using more than 1 character, I don't really know the game well enough to know if that would help. The characters take turns playing. The other character cannot rush (at least I can't make him). So no.

You should buy the armor first thing as the dragon, equip it (this increases charisma, just like stones) and then the sword. Doing more damage will probably help on the mummy boss. So the legendary equipment sequence break worked. Sweet! You can skip collecting any stones. If you also skip buying the shield (since you are not going to get hurt often), this means you won't have to gather any money after the mecha dragon... at all! We should get a password with all the stuff and compare the stats with each weapon for each character really... but for most situations, the Legendary sword should do. You get a small boost in the opposite direction when blocking with your shield. You blocked some projectiles you didn't need to block and missed to block some that could have boosted you forward.

Okay, bad example. I was under the illusion that solar wind consisted mostly of photons. What I wrote about massless particles having momentum still applies. A massless bullet made of photons can therefore strike an object and cause damage. Purely theoretical of course, we both know this phenomenon appears in FPSs because of hitscan calculations and not because the bullets are made of massless particles.

I honestly have no idea what you are trying to say. I will not make a movie (especially not a creepy one) and publish it on YouTube.

>Most enemies will run right towards you, no matter how much you are firing at them (although there are some exceptions to this). If they are melee-only enemies, maybe. Otherwise they will generally act stupid: * walk around aimlessly and occasionally shoot * not dodging or taking cover when under fire * not coordinating their attacks in any way >On the other hand, how massless bullets cause damage is unexplained. Massless particles also have momentum. Solar wind can push objects just like any force.

>"Perfectness: has no default..." I pointed that out to him when he made the movie, but too late. Anyway, it isn't completely incorrect, an older meaning for default is flaw or fault. But perhaps you were thinking of the -ness? I liked the step-motion drums and piano.
