I've found the reason why it desyncs, it's the emulator version which is causing it. I just tested Snes9x v1.43 WIP and it desynced at level 4 like MahaTmA said. But despair not, the version which it works in (the version in which i recorded it) can be found at: http://vincent.grigorieff.free.fr/snes9x/snes9x-1.43-win32.zip (windows binaries) http://vincent.grigorieff.free.fr/snes9x/snes9x-1.43-linux-x86.tar.gz (linux binaries) http://vincent.grigorieff.free.fr/snes9x/snes9x-1.43-macosx.dmg.gz (MacOSX binaries) More details at: http://vincent.grigorieff.free.fr/snes9x/

There are long walking sequences and the game isn't exactly "fast paced" either, but this is a excellent run on the game. I've played this game through and i was really surprised how little of all the things in the game you needed to finish it. I think someone in the game even says you can't defeat hades without the last blue sword, but you did :) Also some of the "acrobatics" and walking through enemies were really well done and entertaining to watch later in the game. Great job.

I found this movie quite enjoyable, because i find sonic games insanely hard to play at supersonic speed (no pun intended). There are a few questions though: In Hill Top Zone you jump on to the first 2 lifts (both going down and right) and then charge up a spindash, but as i recall and tried it out to be sure the lifts can be just jumped over, any reason why you don't? To me jumping over them seems faster. In Aquatic Ruin 1 at the very end you stop and charge up a spindash even when you have the supershoe, is spindashing really faster? On Aquatic Ruin boss you jump to the right pole, but i was thinking why not jump to the left one? I think you could defeat the boss faster if you did that. Also as a general advice i think you should rethink where to charge up the spindash and where to just plain run, because often it felt it took a lot more time to stop, charge up and dash rather than just keep running. I personally enjoyed this movie, but im afraid to vote for it... id be crucified either way! :p

First off, im sorry to hear if someone is having desyncing problems. I have tested this movie from start to finish numerous times and of course it works for me, but i can't even guess what is it that makes it de-sync with other people. Second, i know the movie has it's flaws in planning at certain places, but i guess i just wanted to hear people's opinions about the game itself before trying start perfecting it. I mean i had doubts about it since i only found one other puzzle game video here and i thought it isn't exactly in the scope of the site. Basicly i just wanted to ask does the game even have potential to be a good speedrun movie, because like M.I. said it gets pretty tedious at the end no matter how well you play it. Well anyway, thank you for your comments. And if you think this has potential to be accepted, i'll see if i can make a better run of it (doesn't take long, maybe a week or so depending on my motivation) Edit[/b] Just a very wild guess, but would the desyncing possibly have anything to do with me recording this movie with the filename: KIRBY-A.smv and then renaming it to the longer filename: kirby_avalanche_timeattack_by_tuggummi.smv But here's something more useful perhaps, the rom information of my rom. I personally don't understand much of this, but if someone does...
