Does it always lag, or is it possible to encode mupen64 movies in real time (i mean that the game plays in 100%+ speed)? Mine always lags... :( Someone plez answer!
I need this feature because I want to post videos on Youtube and not those laggy-recorded craps, which look like tool-assisted. And realtime playing is alot more confortable.

I am very interested of this game. I have also some WIP's here, though I post the mainly on Youtube, so don't expect alot VBM's here.
I am currently starting out the run. I'll edit this post while I progress. And of course it takes also some time to Youtube to make my videos visible, and may be that I also upload the longer WIPs to Filefront.

I coudln't even find that piece of ***** from my computer. Could someone be nice and send it to me? I am not going to make any TAS videos with ePSXe, just trying to post some PSX typing videos to youTube.

Old topic but still:
All my button configurations are almost same, except N64 and NES difference, N64 has more buttons etc.
NES/SNES/GBA
A = X
B = Z
X = S
Y = A
L = D
R = C
N64
A = X
B = A
Z = Z (obviously, X + Z on mario 64 is easy to long-jump)
S = S (Start maybe)
L = D
R = C
PSX (these are different, since the buttons are also alot diff.)
X = X
O = A (Circle)
Triangle = W
Square = D
123456 =L12,R12,L3R3
And there all my emulators are. =P

I can record with FRAPS/any other screen capture software the pSX emulator just fine, but now that there are the ReRecording able plugin, I got it on ePSXe, and recorded some *.rec movies.
I have a question; how in hell I can convert those *.rec movies into multimedia files, like AVI, MPG, FLV etc..?
I would be very very thankful for someone who solves this :)
And btw, if it's possible WITHOUT PCSX rr, please tell the way to me. I got Vista and PCSX Rerecording doesn't work for me. It always crashes when I try to open a CD/Image.

Yeah, now I am getting started.
The sprinting will be saving alot of time but still some of those minuses take some time to complete.
I have never been even understanding the Relm skitch generally, or the glitch involving it.
I would have been using the Death/Vanish bug, but it has been fixed... =(
And...equipping bug? Well I haven't even heard of it.
MBlock% glitch isn't needed anymore. There is a way to beat the bosses, trust me. I will make something.
Cyan bug is not going to be used.
Of course I won't do like 20000000 rerecords on just with random encounters. Text can be skipped very easily (I mean just pressing A when text is ready).
I about already know the WoR route now; (will be edited when something changes). I think I use some tactics that Essentia used on her SS run.

-- First going to get Edgar
-- Second I get Setzer & Joker's Death
-- Third, then get Mog.
I don't know which characters I get for WoR, but I got these 4 already. I won't probably get Locke, Relm or Gau.

EDIT: Going to redo this. Someone want to help me with the boss tactics, again mainly before Setzer. But if anyone won't help me I'll do a strategy list which I'll probably use.
I have finished this game like 20 times and i DO know like everything. If I don't, GameFAQ's will help me.

But how about Tony Hawk? You could make a billions of combo in them? Like emu's TAS, it has a combo of like 1 billion, but what about a video, which would be only, and just for comboing, and getting like 999 BILLION combo? Interest anyone? =p

I would say if you have ex. 6000 frames, divide that by 60 and you will get the second count which your movie has.
And 30FPS game framecount should be divided by 30. That's how I usually do it to fit my video lenght to YouTube.

Yeah, FCEUX and ZSNES, and like every single emulator except Mupen works fine, just without this problem. But I tried MPEG-4 Codec, it seem to not to do it, i am not sure if it does it, I will try many times, i will post another reply :P

I have been wondering why my video has a "Box" in the right side of the video?

Like in there, in the start, the dark green box there? I use vista, my Mupen works pretty fine almost 80% of the time, also the AVI recording, but the box just appears sometime there.
Is there any way to solve this?
