It would be cool if someone makes a 100 percent item run (I never achieved it myself, only did like some 93%). Would be so nice...

So if you use a videocamera in a movie theater to record the movie, do you have all rights to distribute your tape? That's what these AVI files are.

I once heard on GameFAQs that someone managed to avoid the Torizo fight after getting Bombs by using savestates to get out of the door quickly. I thought it might be worth testing.

Personally I am a fan of only stopping at the point where no more user input can speed up the onset of completion. In SMW for instance its fine to end the movie when the final mecha koopa is thrown up as after that the game is out of your hands. Same would hold for a final shot in Megaman or the elevator in Metroid. I am not a fan of the 'it ends as long as the viewer cant stop it from ending' idea again by the reasons people have said of maybe pausing the game or whatnot. I am worried though that the point at which no more user input can speed up the completion may be put into question.... like what if holding start made the credits scroll more quickly? The end the input as soon as you can idea would avoid any dispute.

I know. I've been planning a real-time Zelda 2 run, and I've been using an emulator version to practice.

It's been a while since I played the game, but can't you skip the name entry sequence by comtinuing from a blank file?

With the option to use the mouse as the zapper and being able to slow down game play, should be able to shoot the ducks as soon as their beaks appear on the screen. When I was little, I used that trick where you can control the duck with the 2nd controler on "1 duck mode". When I got to round 100 the game just went wacko. I would see 4 transparent flickering ducks that were all bullet proff and lost there. It was really weird. I'm sure it would be boring to watch.

I used to own that game. I think once you complete all the senerios, it gives you a map of 100% land. Once you get a Megalopolis, the game gives you a statue of mario to put in your city. My best strategy for building a city on this game was putting all the industrial buildings along the outside of the city, then commercial along the industrials, and residential in the center.

I am new to this. I couldn't find the option to lower the game speed until when I really needed it in the later levels. I started working on this movie because I saw no one had submitted this version of tetris on your site. I had nothing to compare with as far as performance and amusement. From my point of view, I thought playing at humanly impossible levels to play at would be amusement enough. I also couldn't find any records of someone getting to level 100 whether it's been done before I don't know. However, I see someone did submit a movie a few days ago while I had already started mine a week earlier. It says only 4 re-records but what I did was every time I stoped for the day I would resume, record from a point on the old file, and save to a new file. That some how erased how many re-records I actually had. I believe I origionally recorded from reset but doing this some how made it a savestate record also. If I were to do it over again, I would have just played at the top half of the screen as long as I could also. I have not seen that person's movie until today. My personal best on the actual console version of this game is only around 500,000 which I have recorded on vhs somewhere. This movie still makes that look like nothing as any tetris ever played manually i'm sure.

Downup, I think Aleste will be a great game to watch, it's a very hard game imo. I don't remember being able to run into bosses with full blue "armour". I remember that big blue/purple structure boss, is that the last boss? Have fun!

I played around with the speed a bit, can I reset it somehow. Shift+- doesn't work anymore, and it's stuck at a very fast speed. I've tried to use different versions, but I don't really know what to do. Thanks for any help. Edit: Nevermind, I just went in the registry and deleted most keys with snes9x in them, which seemed to work fine. Anyone know why this happened, though?
