I vote yes as it's the updated version of the Mario 2 Luigi run (man of your word) and it seems to be perfect in your eyes but regardless, it's beaten as fast as possible.

This is one of the greatest efforts put into a TAS I have ever seen! It's interesting to see one person control not 2, not 3, but 4 players! It doesn't look that bad with the lag and all, aside from that it seemed optimized to a good extent (having 4 characters can hold progressing through the level back, I assume and have seen). I liked how you made them look like they had to work together, that really ups the entertainment value. A definite yes vote and congratulations on really improving your Tool-Assisted Superplaying, you've done great work.

I don't believe that this has been implemented into Visual Boy Advance yet and I was hoping, in the next update or so, that it would be. I don't feel that this request constitutes another sudden release of the emulator but more of a minor update of the current version. I'd rather not go into little details that result in whining from myself so whenever this feature is implemented, I'll be most greatful.

I agree that people shouldn't care what you think so much, hell they shouldn't mind so much as to make things difficult when they are just so simple: You didn't like what you saw so you voted no, big deal. I mean really why is one no vote so crucial to anybody, especially with given reason. Surely you don't negate the technical value of this movie as it's completed relatively fast, but, as you've said, it wasn't entertaining to you. I really have no say in all this but I thought I should for, what seems like, no apparent reason.

That was a very good run, optimized and fun to look at. Aside from being optimized, it showed quite a few entertainment factors like the animated input, those were genius and original (even though JXQ had done it before, it was quite original). I also liked how much character you gave Mickey with all the movements and in-game expressions. This is simply a yes vote.

To further justify, for no apparent reason, "why" arguing with NecroVMX is pointless, which has/had nothing to do with being right or wrong, I have no idea where anyone got that notion (no offense intended): He's entitled to his opinion and voting no on a relatively popular movie, especially with his given reason, makes hardly a dent in decision making (or the decision made) when comparing the yes votes with the no votes of this movie.

Maybe Rice's plugin is no longer compliant so I'll go back to gln64 and see if it desyncs in the said area but man, for me, it's so tedious to set up and use gln64 because of how non-compliant it is on my system. Edit: Desyncs with gln64 from beginning to Jabu Jabu so Rice's plugin is still a contender. If you haven't already checked your movie from beginning to end then I suggest you do rather than checking it with a save state somewhere in between (assuming you have been checking with a save state). Luckily, when it synced up because of a save state I used rather than playing back from the beginning, I made a save state right after Jabu Jabu so I should be able to continue watching progress but I won't know where and when desyncs occur.

This is going to sound crazy but try loading up some hi res textures, that might help (I'm not sure if the textures themselves may help stop desyncs or if the time that it takes to load them up will but this is just some sort of crack pot theory of mine). If that doesn't help then I can give you all of my configurations for Rice's Graphic Plugin which are: General Options Direct X OpenGL Texture Filters Game Default Options Current Game Options (They're in link form to spare our dial-up users somewhat) I don't gaurantee that selecting all these settings will make it sync up nor do I gaurantee that selecting only some of these settings will make it sync up but go ahead and try it because chances are it may work out for the best. (none of this previous information is relevant regarding syncing the movie, Rice's Graphic plugin should work with the default settings.) It synced up for me but that's most likely because I used a save state so I'll go back and view it from beginning to end (which will make this post pretty much obsolete if it desyncs at Jabu Jabu). Edit: Okay, it desyncs at Jabu Jabu when viewing the movie from start to finish but syncs up from save states (save states are bad), It's a damn shame.

Try Rice's Graphic Plugin, that's the one I used and I didn't get any desyncs.

You're right, there are no desyncs and don't worry about save states because I've been making my own as should anyone else who views your WIPs on Mupen64. This run is turning out to be more than I can ask for in terms of quite a few things: entertainment, intricacy, and nostalgia, likely more. Keep up what you're doing, it's turning out great.

Good stuff, an improvement is, in fact, an improvement. I liked most of everything you did to progress and so yes vote.

The run itself seems to be absolutely well done but I can't say much since I've never played the game. The game itself isn't that bad to watch but it's also not that good either, kind of a neutral point here or there as well as good and bad points. Well I believe this deserves my yes vote as it's a well executed run and not too bad a game title.

Syncs up, once again, perfectly from begining to end and even with a save state I've created so I'm not sure why your save states are not working well with playing back. It's looking very promising so far even with the certain changes of plans from the route choice so keep it up the way you're doing it.

Good use of glitches and exploitations of gameplay and not a bad game title either. I found it interesting and it's a really well done movie so you get my yes vote.

Here's another WIP, it completes the Bart as a baby mini game although the last segment is unoptimized and I will go back and complete it the way I see fit. At first this mini game looked alright, promising in the way of moderate interest but it starts to flag about half way through it. I've kind of got some doubts as to whether or not this game will make for an interesting TAS but we'll see on the Workbench when I complete it. Anyway, enjoy.

I'm still trying it out, works on console so far. The only thing different I'm seeing so far is the use of music from Super Mario Bros. 3 from All-Stars.

Hmm, not a bad looking hack from what I saw in the screens and trailers. It seems to hold more context than Super Demo World did. Could it live up to the hype, should there be another Super Mario World based hack TAS? I personally wouldn't mind seeing a TAS of this hack as long as it has redeeming qualities much like Super Demo World had only differently, something new (from what I saw, it is nothing like Super Demo World, it looks like it goes even further).

They made that shark a mockery, I mean, just look at how happy he is. An improvement is an improvement so I vote yes.

Thanks for the support, here's the WIP. It gets through the tomatoeing and egging mini game pretty quickly, I'm not sure how much faster it can be done. Enjoy, I'll try to get another one done by the end of today but I'm not promising anything.

I sincerely hope I can get going on this run but for some reason, no matter what movie settings I use it desyncs. I even tried using ZSNES and I still get desyncs. Sculptured Software developed games don't play well in emulation. They have bad sound which is most likely the case of the many desyncs between game titles developed by them. I sure know how to pick them, every run that I've done or have started in SNES emulation is a game developed by them. Edit: No more desyncs, I shall get started on that WIP.

I've tried having that unchecked and I still get the same results after I rerecorded the whole movie from scratch. Edit: I think I've found the route of all my desyncs, I had Interpolated Sound checked. I'll let you know. Edit2: Okay, it was because of Interpolated Sound. I wonder why I even had it on?
