This run had all of what a Super Mario run should have. Entertaining use of quirky movement and such in the waiting/progressing areas. Great use of objects, enemies, and wall jumps to make things work out. You guys are straight up, nutbars and on that note congratulations on finishing such a cool and entertaining run, you know I enjoyed this movie so yes vote.

Anyone else find that the hop/skip running is much like running in a dream? Well, whatever... An improvement such as this doesn't go unnoticed. I liked the old run and knowing that it was improved is more than enough to get my yes vote. By the way, the movie desynced on me around frame 63,000 so I replayed with Fake Mute desync workaround on and it synced up fine, fast-forward and all.

Not a bad run. It was interesting to see how you would go about completing certain levels. I give this a yes vote.

What an enjoyable run of Zelda, much like the previous one only better in just about every way. It's a hell of a lot of work getting it that optimized so great job in that manner. Can't seem to find anymore words that moozooh didn't already say so then yes vote.

Pretty good and fun so far. Seems you're going for utmost completion which is great. I know this game pretty well but you really won't need much help. Looking forward to more progress so good luck.

Wow, this run came out really well and much quicker than I thought it would. Looks like a lot of work went into the making of this run, I'm impressed. Like FODA said, it's a very popular title in which couldn't hurt by having another run such as this. It's a nice concept that I have no problem with so here's your yes vote and congratulations on finishing this run, it really is something.

Thanks. This is a little annoying though because it starts recording as soon as you open the rom, and appends to the same avi when you open the movie file. I can't pause the system prior to opening the rom, so there are a bunch of extra frames I can't get rid of.
What I used to do, when I would record avi of Famtasia runs, is go to File and Open and highlight the ROM (without loading it yet) and then hover over where Edit is before I pressed enter on the keyboard (to load the ROM), then I'd click Edit before it recorded that many frames. Also, it's difficult to tell how many frames you have saved because it's relatively inconsistent. You might also like to check the frame rate of the Famtasia movie, in VirtualDub and make sure, for some reason, that it's not 30 frames a second (This isn't likely if it's dumped straight from Famtasia but Famtasia has been known to be rather quirky, here or there). Instead of frame hunting, you could always just check the duration and see if you are ahead, after all, Famtasia and FCEU have different frame rates in which I don't understand what's Famtasia's (is it 60 frames a second or 59 - 58, WHAT IS IT THAT VIRTUALDUB SUGGESTS 'CAUSE IT STILL DESYNCS?!). Hope this helps :).

You can get it here, just enable the 'AVI recording patch', download boing.dll, and download the do_record file (they're all on that page, near the bottom). Make sure it has no extension on the end of the file name of the do_record file (.txt, .exe, etc.). Also make sure that all the files are in the same directory as Famtasia. That should do it but hopefully you have disk space to fill because the avi file will be uncompressed and you can not choose what codec you want either. Sorry if I'm a little patronizing.

You could also dump an AVI from Famtasia and use VirtualDub for the frame counter.

Great job, the only difficulty is appreciation. I do appreciate all your time and effort as I'm sure it took a lot out of you guys to do this but I'm not that big a fan of Mega Man (even though I do try and indulge in the runs of Mega Man, I really don't like playing them, that's all I'm saying.) The run(s), as it/they is/are, came together really well, better than I thought it/they would, so that's always good. I found myself to enjoy this movie to a good extent so I'll give you a much deserved 'Did you like watching this movie?' Yes Vote. Congratulations on completing your monster.

Hmm, the Genesis version is way less laggy but the color scheme and sound isn't that great (the SNES version isn't really any better though, the sound that is). It's also slower so I'm going to stick with the SNES version.

Must feel damn good to get this run done, especially how it came together. As the run progressed, so did the entertainment; it stayed diverse, interesting, and unexpected. I give this a yes vote and regard it highly as one hell of a piece of work. Great job jimsfriend.

I bet if DK64MASTER were reading this, he'd raise an eyebrow or two.
Alright, I take it back. Chances are, with comicalflop also working on this, there will be much less progress than before. In fact, we'll most likely hear more about that unrecorded 'zip on up the ladder' back in the Deku Tree. How 'bout that, huh!? (I'm just joking with you my friend/acquaintance/whatever you can call what we know eachother by. Like I said before, best of luck to you and GuanoBowl!)

Great work so far, I look forward to more progress as it looks very promising. Chances are, with comicalflop also working on this, there will be much more progress than before. Much obliged and good luck with the rest of the run.

A nice display of what Mario Kart always had in store, I just never knew of any of it. I have to say, Koopa Troopa is one hell of a crappy driver when the AI takes over, bumping into everything, not knowing what happened or what to do, the crazy drunk. Some of those shorcuts were really something while others were a bit stalk which is expected because some levels weren't designed to rip apart with diversity. I really couldn't ask for more in a Mario Kart run (except maybe that 2 player run but that's a whole different story) because you've shown us speed and you've shown us shortcuts. Yes vote, great job Huffers.

One hell of run this turned out to be. Regardless of there being not many/no entertainment vs speed trade offs, I actually found this run to be superior in the entertainment department. You did a fine job on this run Rikku, I didn't doubt it at any moment. And hey, in some aspects, besides a thank you to FODA, you paid great homage to his run with your run. With all that I give this a yes vote. (Thanks for the acknowledgment in the submission text, stuff like that, in a subtle way, motivates me to TAS)

Also, when I say use Fake Mute desync workaround and Sync with sound CPU, I say it as more of a precautionary since sometimes they are not needed at all. With that in mind, when you complete your movie you could always test if your movie syncs up without them on but that's really not necessary and WIP1 Timing should be enough to do the trick.

Well, sorry to say but you are most likely going to have to start over with the new settings in order to beat this desync or hex edit but it might be best to start over because, as you've said, you found improvements.

I've also gone through this when I worked on Bart's Nightmare and the problem was that I had Volume Envelope Height Reading on which was causing the random spot desyncs. Anyway, what are your movie settings? WIP1 Timing, Fake Mute desync workaround, and Sync samples with sound CPU usually stop desyncs.
