It was awesome seeing the Ganon fight legitimately done without Gameshark (I did that myself over a decade ago, but never would imagine it could actually be done without GS haha). Great work as always SL.

Thanks for all the praise guys, I'm glad you all enjoyed the run.
I wouldn't mind doing a 100% run if it weren't for the special stages. They take about three minutes each and are similar to the kind from Sonic 2, except there isn't the perk of getting Super Sonic after collecting all the emeralds. Instead, the reward is an extra boss fight.
Once I finish Rush, I might look into Colors Wii.
Actually, yes I did. It's caused by too many sound effects over-lapping in a short period of time.
Oh hey, I knew forgot about something in my submission text. I'm glad you knew what was going on with that though and even explained why it was done. Thank you.
Yeah, it was definitely a head scratcher for a couple of days, and even then that was with tools available. The hardest part is positioning to get that little rock that flies off after the second rock smash with Void. Then figuring out the obvious, that the twelve rings needed to be saved for Void, I just smacked my head when I finally thought of it.
Well either way, you and SkyL gave me the hints I needed to figure out the final strategy I used and it was awesome figuring it out, so thank you . I doubt SkyL will see my line for him, but I figured I'd include it anyways.

It's one of those games that's really hard to play in real time, so watching speedruns or TASes is pretty impressive. If you haven't actually played the game, it probably isn't interesting.

I've never actually seen Super Monkey Ball Jr. before, but it doesn't look half bad for being a GBA game. The run itself was awesome and entertaining as some GCN runs I've seen. It's too bad the game doesn't have more levels per difficulty though xD

Lol thanks :D. I'm sure you'll still be helpful on the bosses even if you aren't completely sure. Hopefully you don't have any 2x damage tricks that I can't figure out in Rush hahaha.

I'm going to restart the run on 0.9.8 just cause... <_<. I haven't even finished my games yet and I'm already bored xD. I'll be split between studying for finals and restarting, so progress will be slow until May-ish. At that point, I'll be trying to pound these two runs out. I also might just work on the Blaze verification movie this week.

After reading your points, I agree with you on the 100% idea. Your suggestion for the verification movie is actually pretty clever, too lol. I wouldn't even think of doing it for SRA lol. Rush was only a contender due to how easy it would be to 100% :P.

Messed around for an hour seeing if the slope glitch (with and without airdashing) works. Unfortunately, it does not :(.
I didn't try poking the speed value and testing to see if the game rounds down like it does in Colors. So it might be possible after gaining a ton of Speed after a series of rails.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. I think there is more variety in Colors with the different wisps and so that sort of makes up for the speed difference.
Guess you spent so much on the ring, you couldn't overnight ship it too xD.
Thank you fellas, it'll be a few weeks though. After I finish up Xenoblade, Pandora's Tower should be here for me to play too. Then I'll probably be looking at finals after that xD.
I'm debating making this a 100% run, but I need to mess around with Blaze again. The slope glitch is possible to perform without airdash on any slope, but some slopes will take a long setup and might not be worth doing (I need to recheck the first slope on LS1 with Sonic when I start working on this again). I think she might have a legitimate shot at beating Sonic in some levels between her hovering, horizontal trick and ability to do the slope glitch.
Or I could be completely wrong and she'll just be slower copy of Sonic's run in most levels <_<.

There was already a rejected run: http://tasvideos.org/2807S.html
I found your test to be a bit more entertaining, but if this is as fast as the game can get then I think it's bad game choice :/

I'm taking a break from working on this for a few days to play Xenoblade. I believe I'll be able to optimize the end section of LS2 a little bit further, but it probably will look the same (besides the timer) so I went ahead and uploaded the WIP.

I gotta say, it's looking pretty sharp. The R trigger trick is nerfed compared to Rush (Rush Adventure's version with boost is the same as Rush's without), but a lot better than anything in Colors (none at all xD). After watching your WIP, I'm not 100% positive but it seems like the slope glitch in Rush is gone as well. I'll wait until I see an easy place to test it out in your WIP and make sure.
If I finish up Rush before you really dent this thing, we should team up :O

Going to see if I can figure out the RNG's address. I'm crossing my fingers that it works the same as in Colors xD.

Almost finished with Leaf Storm 1. I've had a hard time improving on Nitsuja's WIP. So far I've only found one route deviation that was faster. It loses two of the frames gained from destroying an enemy with boost, but it couldn't be avoided.
This game a lot more fun to TAS than Colors with all of the extra x-velocity to be gained at any given time. Planning Boost usage is important. It's pretty nifty that Boost can continue to be held down when airdashing. The only thing I miss is mid-air boost, but I don't think that it's needed like in Colors.

Tightened up the ending of LS1 and saved 4 more frames. Onto LS2 :D.
