around 96650: in that room of wily 1, it looks like there is a missed shot. I also liked the "through the wall with rushjet" tech. well, a nice improvement, this deserve a yes vote.

really now. is this really necessary. If everyone is so caught up about it, why not change the name to BisqwitsArchive, or, Bisqwit.org. mostly anybody now who watches over videos know the name bisqwit, and what his site is about. so, i say i do like nesvideos better than tasvideos, but maybe something we can all agree on instead of argueing. So my suggestion is change it to BisqwitsArchive.org , or, change it back to nesvideos.

To the Judges: personally, i feel that this should be at least accepted. it has been in que for a bit and most of the "no" votes are because of the game, and not because of the gamePlay that Diman had produced. Yet, most of the yes votes are for the gameplay, and not for the game. Since the site is "TASVideos", and this is a bery nice TAS of this game, i think there should be a video for this.

I watched the WIP for this, and i must say that this time i have no qustions. Only one. when going to the mech dragon, would it be faster to use Item2, then get energy for it later? from what i can remember it is at full energy. other then that, nice job. Also, i dont understand what FinalFighter is trying to say. not at all.

Ok well, after reading some of this... I would like to state for the record that i pronounce "TAS" as "Tass or Taz" as Phil pointed out. Also, Nate sounds awful. "Oh, Im NATEing". sound like you are "Mateing" with your wife or someone else. "Oh, Im TASing" sound like you are "TASKing" which you actually are. "Tool-Assisted-Speedruns" like someone said, 99.9% of the runs on site have a top goal, make the runs Length a Minimum. Then the second goal is entertainment (unless its like, JXQ's Fluteless run) then entertainment is the THIRD goal. Another example is JXQ's SDW 100%(I think thats what its called). he aimed for speed while getting 100%(i think). When runs on the site are getting improved by 30 frames(SMB2) and 19 frames(SMB2) and 6 frames(Atlantis no Nazo) and then 4 frames(SMB1 I beleive) then the site is aimed for speed. The most Popular runs on the site are Zelda, Mario, and Megaman. All three of these runs aim for speed. So, I say stick with "TAS" or... go back to the old fashion term "Fast-Throughs"

I think Phil meant Instantly after his post. Also, there is nothing wrong with a negative vote 5-6 months later. If it is still in the submissions, then every vote counts. Reviving it with a Positive might encourage publishment, while reviving it with a negative might encourage rejection. 80 submissions is alot, so I think Phil was just trying to get it moves to Published or Rejection to get it out of the way. Please correct me if I am wrong Phil. :)

Well, in Rockman3. Me and angerfist were fighting over frames before the magnetman boss door. It turns out that he made his 1 frame faster than mine, and we both had to have delay to make magnetman do one routine. He had to delay 2 frames while i had to delay 1 frames, so it evened out. 1 frame can mean alot, or nothing.

I strongly suggest you redo your run. 1: use the short cuts i have used in my movie in ALOT of places to speed it up. 2: Play on Novice. I really don't have the time now to do it myself so, I will monitor your runs and give tips.

Even in rooms that there is no lag, you still should kill off the guy who is behind, because you have to wait for him to run to the end, when if you kill him off, you only have to cross the front guy, making it faster.

I watched this again and i was still impressed. I vote that this get a Star, because the game is not once boring, and this movie shows inhuman reflexes and skills.

Probably because Megaman is in the ground, and stays there during the next level.

I have one concern. When you defeat a boss, does it make a difference where Rockman's Y-Coordinate is? Like in Heatmans fight, you are in the air when you start to teleport upwards. I was wondering if this actually made a difference. If it does, this could be acheived in Metalman fight. [EDIT] In the Airman stage, you seem to use Item1 quite often at the beginning, when regular jumping could be acheived. Is this really faster than using item1 at the boss entrance of Airman? Also, does a Heat charge kill Airman in one hit? or in anyway be faster than just the buster?. Or, for that matter, can the "in the wall jump to get in the floor" tech be used in the airman fight to make you arrive to airman quicker? In Crashman stage, you use Item3 to get "a boost" when the screen scrolls Verticly, but you dont seem to use it at 35226. Any reason why not? In Bubbleman stage, would it be any help to use Item2 right at the beginning for a faster movement? or would the weapon switch cause problems? Other than that, Nice job.

Guanobowl: have you tried to get a "Criticle Hit" to work as Nitsuja has posted some time ago? Thats where my run is paused, at Boss2 trying to figure out how to do it, watching the memory(with the help of FODA). Will watch your run now.

ZeroTech. Me and Angerfist are already started improving my old run. Though your movie is further than us. Good luck with your run! Oh and, welcome to the TAS community.

It was played good.. But the game kinda funny. My only complaints are (1)that during some waits, you just stand there sometimes, not moving. (2) The game is repetitive. (3) the ending is stupid. But on the good side, I doubt this gameplay can be completed in a real speedrun, making it impressive play. Im not really fimiliar with the game, but im sure anyone who played this game before would be impressed. Yes vote.

Also, Sabikage was being a little rude. Diman probably DID put effort into this run, and made an improvement. Its not his fault, but he did try his best. Its not easy to tas smb games.
Sabikage may have been rude but he had the point there, this run aims to be as fast as possible and it fails to be achive this goal.
Yes, but Diman still put his effort into this, its wrong to say he never. At the time, I put all my effort into my 2 rerecord battlemaniacs movie, and my 135 rerecord submission. It was so sloppy, but it doesn't mean my effort wasn't there. My knowledge of movie making was low. Same thing here, maybe Diman's knowledge of the SMB2 tricks was low. Now that he knows there are more tricks, and where to find them, his next movie wont be sloppy(if he does make the new version). About where this movie goes... I guess it is up to Bisqwit, if he cares if it stays on the site or not. But if he thinks the Princess only run shouldn't be on the site, he should let Diman know.(if Diman is going to make a new version).
