Yeah, this topic has nothing to do with 36 frames, except that it's been discussed several times within. the topic was that the 36 frames made it less entertaining. Everyone? Who's assuming their opinion is fact now? I never said my opinion. Another of your opinions taken as fact. Tell me, why are your opinions fact, and mine make me a noob? Because you have more mindless one-word posts than I do? Ridiculous. Sorry, that was my opinion :) Along with others. Perfection to me (note the opinion) is completing the game as fast as possible, while keeping the video as entertaining as possible without losing speed. Check the guidelines: That is what sleepz did, making it half a second slower for more entertainment. Gosh, I sure do know a lot about this site for being a noob. Not all about knowing the site, you need to know how to please the audience as well. And only the opinions of people like Vatchern Its good that you reconize :)

When a movie replaces an old one, the movie has been "obsoleted". That implies time, to me. I also have to say that I think it's ridiculous that Sleepz is so protective over his name staying on a run. I never thought that was something that went along with a TAS, because of the way they are made. It's never been about who makes the movie, it's about having the best movie. The noob im speaking of is a person who thinks his opinion is correct. And when did 36 frames of improvement become "not enough"? The noob im speaking of is a person who has no idea what this topic is about. we never said that about time. And this wobbling nonsense - you people are just looking for a reason to keep Sleepz's name on the main page. Obviously, everyone finds it not entertaining. Cry me a river. Again. In conclusion, quit acting like a bunch of bitches, and just keep the vision of the sight in mind. Also remember that speed is the primary form of entertainment. Not in this case noob. blatant favortism over players Again. We will only delay the process of the movies approaching perfection with this attitude. What exactly do you think Perfection is? And, None of this is pointed at Phil, if he reads this.

doesn't one of Phil's Double dragon movies not do the fastest techneque because it would be boring to watch? What if someone did the exact same as you, except for one spot he did that techneque making it a little faster, and everything else was the same.... is that the same case here? or.. do i have no idea what im talking about.

Ive started a new run. V2. So, i can see where i went wrong in V1. Ive made the selection screen 1 frame faster then my previous run so far. and on Kopernicals movie, at 1071, V1 is at 858 which is 213 frames quicker. Making my V2 214 frames quicker. This was from Just choosing Geminiman. I was 1 frame too slow in V1. EDIT. Kopernical - 1199 V1........... - 985 > 214 Quicker. V2........... - 984 > 215 Quicker.

5-6 times? You only have to see it 4 times actually. plus you can die right in the pit before it after you see it, and it counts.

It can be done without rushjet as well. Sleepz mentioned it ealier on in this thread. i tried it out and only got it working once. is it really faster? or does shooting it cause lag?

I have done that now alot. saving at different seconds, some points where its frustrating me. I might have a 3 day break since im going out of town for 3 days. or i might bring the rom/movie file/fceu/famtasia/kopernicals fmv with me.

yeah.. This is going to take us forever :D. The first time i tried to do a Battletoads movie, i had 135 rerecords for a 20 minute movie. I got over 300 rerecords on my 40 second megaman movie. Im having alot of trouble with him not jumping when i ask him to.

Angerfist, Im having just as hard time as you are trying to keep up with Kopernical's published movie. At the beginning, chooseing Rockman rom, i am 214 frames ahead. Then, after i did FinalFighters trick in the underground of the level, I should be more then 214 frames ahead, but, i am only 198 :|. so.. My idea is not to look at his movie anymore, and do it my style. and after every second, make sure i am still ahead. So, never give up, like DeHackEd said.

Ok, On kopernicals movie, Geminiman stage, 40 seconds in, when he slides pass the Protoman thing. Right before that, when he is sliding, somehow, he slides again. How can you stop your slide like that? ive tried pressing the opposite direction, but that makes you turn left, losing frames.

Ok, The intro does load quicker. It loads 214 frames quicker then Megaman 3. So, seeing as there is nothing wrong with the first minute of Kopernicals movie, i just have to try to do the same as him, or get there at the same frame.

Omega, i can tell that you just want to see games played normally and you probably arent the first. But if that is what you wanted to see, you have come to the wrong website. This is Based on finding the fastest possible time and finding Programming Errors. Also based on Entertainment.

Hmm.. Well.. I also had a suggestion to use Rockman 3 instead of Megaman 3, because the intro loads quicker.
