Yes, because of the fast-paced action and the impressive combos.

I'll second that "OH MY!!" The entire run is excellent, but how...did you do that? (My only wish would be that you had touched one of the Fuzzies; it would have been neat to see you race through that part of the stage while "affected")

Hostages have been kidnapped by terrorists. Are you a bad enough ninja to rescue the hostages? ...ok, this game hasn't gotten very much attention, but it's supposed to be a very good game, being a mix between Shinobi and Bionic Commando (with the ninja using a grappling hook to flip up ledges), and also having a good, fast pace. Perhaps an idea for a run?

The movie seems to work with the (J) Eurasia ROM, regardless of the mismatch warning. Very nice movie, and I found it to be very fast-paced, as well. "Yes", for me.

Er...it could do without the (excessive) cursing. And the crude, and increasingly juvenile humor. The violence can get pretty over-the-top at times, also. Not to reflect on you personally, of course, but it concerns me to see so many fans of this, sometimes.

(Okay, let's not get too off-topic, here. You might want to edit your post too, jxq.) So, how about tough-guy supporting characters? For example, I always thought Falco, from Star Fox, was cool because of his sort of laid back, aggressive attitude. That, and the guy they found for Star Fox 64 did a very good job of handling the lines given him... ...and one of my many gripes against Star Fox: Assault, is the job they did with that character--having an accent isn't enough if you neuter the lines and make it sound like you're just reading from a script! In my opinion, this is like having Greedo shoot first. Repeatedly. And then cutting to the next scene so you can't see what happens. ...sorry, sorry. I'll calm down.

I don't know, audience recognition factor? I mean, who among us hasn't gone chasing after their pet frog, only to watch it mutate (by a convienently placed box) and fall down a hole? Honestly, who would want to play another game with a boring plot about space invaders when you have that?

(Okay, taken from Blaster Master Underground, it's the storyline for Meta Fight--the Japanese version. Near the center Ypsilon Milky Way lied the planet Sophia the 3rd, an advanced civilization used to prosper this planet. The time is the year 2052 of the space calendar. Goez, the dread emperor of the universe, led the the Inbem Dark Star Cluster on an invasion, putting an end to the peace at Sophia. The Nora Satellite of the Science Academy managed to get away from the imminent danger, and with their increased power, they complete the final weapon for Inbem's defeat, the all-purpose combat tank "Metal Attacker". The genius boy pilot, Kane Gardner, is the commander chosen to ride the Metal Attacker in order to lead fire in the battle agaisnt Inbem, and right now he has been cutted and dropped off (to the battlefield). "Your destiny is stop the demon from ruling us!" "He has conquered the entire outer space, he is the self-proclaimed god of this universe and it's my ambition to stand up against this person, to defeat this unknown entity!! He is the supreme ruler of our universe. He is Goez...!!" Super Planetary All-Purpose Tank Metal Attacker.

I for one approve of this run, because I requested one for this game. But I'm also impressed that one was made in the first place. This game was obviously inspired by the Sci-Fi serials of the 1950's, where brave, square-jawed scientists/loners faced off weekly against hordes of aliens/subversives, all in the name of Freedom (I sort of wish they had gone all the way and made the Lunarians secretly allied with the U.S.S.R). Some examples would be Commando Cody (who I think they based the main character on), or for a modern example, Captain Proton. ...and now, for all my gushing, I can't deny the fact that this is a boring, boring game. CtlAltDestroy, thank you for your efforts, but this should not be published.

Are there significant changes in the game to warrant a retread? There is already one movie for this game.

...um, thank you? This and other...pictures, have been floating around the internet for awhile, and this optical illusion...picture, is a popular one. All I can suggest without spoiling it is that you grit your teeth and clench your fists tight if you want to stare at this thing; or not, if you want a thrill.

Well...thank you for taking this run on in the first place, mookish. I think the test movie is pretty good so far, and you seem to have a good handle of the battles as far as manipulation goes. Don't give up!

I wonder if this means the government will start looking at Adobe like they did with Microsoft?

Wait..."not very good quality"? I actually thought the patch was very polished and had a good script, despite the minor graphical errors... No matter. About the Shinobi chapter--if you don't kill anybody by the end, you get a good weapon for the final chapter. However, I think what would be more impressive would be to get the Murasame and the Merfolk Socks, which basically require you to go on a rampage in order to get enough experience to face Iwama, and *shudder* Ryuunosuke. You'll need to get the Prisoner and Circle, too...

I'd like the breakdancing one. An idea would be to switch the IR goggles on and off while doing it, to make a "strobe" effect. Not too fast though; it could get to be an eyestrain.

The Settlers II is a really good, although sort of slow, strategy game. In fact, why don't I just give you the link to a site filled with great, old abandonware games and you can pick through them?

Well, you might want to save up your money, because Funimation is apparently redubbing Seasons 1 and 2 and they'll be out soon.

Well, it's nice to know that people have the time to make an entry bashing an otherwise completely unknown person, outside of a pretty small group who probably don't really care about him. It truly adds to their credibility that one is named "Character-Zero", and the other "MOUNT ME".

Ok, even I take umbrage here. If you haven't seen the original Dragonball, know that DBZ is nothing more than a continuation of the series; that was what Toriyama intended. The original series focused on Goku growing and maturing from a strong, generally clueless boy to a stronger, matured, and slightly less clueless adult. We're introduced to a majority of the characters previously who have also grown and developed, and this is where the story continues. Now, I'm not defending Veggeto's side here, but I am trying to give some clarity. ...hmm. After writing and re-writing this, I can boil it down to this: Go here. Even with the snippits, hopefully you can see there's a lot more to the series than what the dub might show.

No, he's just an anime fan. An extremely limited one, perhaps, but it's not like that's a new thing. Can everyone just take some time to cool down before posting again? SSV: Were you able to get the message I sent to you?
