my attention span is rather short, so I prefer any%, however, if it is a game I know well, I like to see it all finished.

you could always change the system entirely so it is not on the forums at all, but on a seperate section of the website. It might provide extra customisation, and it will allow you to make a system similar to wikipedia easier to implement (in my opinion). If you did do it that way, you could seperate out the yes votes from the no votes, and this way you allow the judges and the runners themselves to pick up on any critisim a lot easier. This might also reduce the forum posts in general, as you could resolve a lot of discussion via pm in this way. Just a suggestion though, dunno if it would be easier or not.

Egads... the point is that it plays itself?
No, no. It plays itself NINE TIMES! [insert dramatic music, preferably Duel of the Fates {no, it doesn't fit, but I like the song.}]
I can do it! I can do it NINE TIMES!

Did you really write all your css on one line? I can't tell what does what, and if you had to change it in the future, you might find not be able to find stuff so easily. It's much easier to have each function on a seperate line, you've done it in your html :P

I'm sorry but if we're going to do a run of every single rom out there we would have thousands of runs on this site. Voting no, as it is slower than the current run.

Hello Having quite a few problems with Snes9x. It only affects 1.43 or versions similar to that. It seems that, as soon as I load the ROM for any game, it immediatly crashes. I've tried using the snes9x 1.43 improvement, the record reset version too, all instantly crash when a ROM is loaded. I have no idea what is causing it, because it was all working fine not too long ago, and I haven't changed anything to make it crash. By the way, the newest version of snes9x plays the ROMS just fine, so I don't think there is a problem with the ROMs themselves, but you guys will probably tell me wrong. So, who can help me with my dilemma? Or point me in the right direction? I did read the FAQ's, as far as I saw there wasn't an answer in there, I tried the suggestions that might fix the problem but they don't work. I would prefer to get the old version to work, otherwise the WIP's i download won't work, the new videos don't use the newest version of Snes9x Edit : Pretty typical that as soon as this happens, the tracker for the AVI downloads is up the creek :(

I'm guessing you need enough posts to change your title from newbie to something different. Then you can vote.

It might matter if someone voted no because the author would want to know why and what was wrong with the movie for it to earn it. Do you have any proper justification for voting no? If you don't, maybe you should stop voting altogether, since you don't seem to understand how it works.

Sorry for the double post here, i've uploaded the keys for the first 2 levels here. This key video isn't meant to go the fastest possible or anything like that :p, it's just me showing how the levels run and how it all works. It might look cutsie but it is a great platformer. Edit : How do I make this into an avi just from the keys? Edit 2: I use the Bubble and Squeak (u) [!] rom.

It's a platformer with puzzle elements. You play this little kid named bubble and you have a dog named squeak which you can rescue and he helps you get to the end of the levels. It is annoying for me because what made it hard is that the water level rises, and you can't breathe underwater :P, well, only for a time. I used to have the game but can't seem to find it now, I'll getting a rom and playing a couple of levels but don't expect it to end well :P

I loved this game when I was young, was really fun to play, and would love to see a speedrun, would bring back lots of memories :)

Hi, I love the work you guys do on the speedruns on this site, great job :) I would love to see someone speed run bubble and squeak. It used to get me so mad when I was a lot younger because it was not easy. I only just remembered the game name recently and wanted to see if it would make a worthwhile speedrun if someone did it. I would try to attempt it myself but 1.) I don't have the rom and 2.) I've never done a speedrun before :P Now this is only a request, you don't have to be obliged to do it or anything, just giving you guys an idea if you are looking for a game to speedrun, then I would watch this, even if it simply means completing it I would love to see it done.

Why not include something like paper mario if it can be done fast enough, battles are in 2d but the game itself holds a part 3d part 2d nature.
