you could argue both sides, fact is, there's quite some differences in intros between PAL/NTSC so you'd have to note the system if it's going to be used.

I just checked again, and just before leaving the world, he picks up a 2nd honeycomb, but shouldn't there be 6? I haven't played BK in ages so I could be wrong, but if the level is complete I'd assume all 6 would have been collected..?

hmm.. is mumbo's mountain completed? don't you get all honeycombs for 100%? I'm sure they do for the level records that I know about. (n64highscores or so)

I'd like to watch this TAS closely as it gets done, so I'd like to friendly request if you (or someone else) could also make/post savestates for each wip that starts where the wip before it ended. I tried to do it myself, but it didn't work. :( good luck on the progress!

I believe this little timesaver hasn't been used, so I'll post a video of a new method: www.dan01.com/sm64/Myles Bukrim - Hazy Maze Cave - 6 - Watch For Rolling Rocks - 0.15.wmv it's worth checking out for the new 16 star run for example.

AND they can take the slower paths.. and it doesn't happen 'sometimes', more like 99% of the time I'd say. I think everything you do from the moment a hostage is released could matter for the outcome.

it would have been nice if you had told me it was under the 'decoder' tab under the item 'codecs'. anyway, I checked and it's weird. when I go to 7283, it's the completion screen (not time thus), then I go 2 forward to and then back again, and THEN I see the time screen. certainly this is not how it's meant to be..?

sort of looked over snowball's last line. so I went there, but I don't see where to change it from x264 to libavcodec after going through the items.

lol you guys. dudes pay attention to the problem at hand before giving tips. how could I be missing the codec if I've seen the run? you know that I have seen it, because else I couldn't know it's missing the time screen. for the record, I use FFDShow for ages. now someone please give some helpful help. or better yet, just remake the vid with the time screen :p

I'm quite sure those aren't links to FAQs.. just FFDShow stuff. no use to me.

I get an error: " Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'H264' (unknown) VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable. " yeah, I typed that all out :p

nope.. the last frame I encounter, even by going by step in media player classic, is the completion screen, which doesn't show the time.

maybe Yoshi can be made to give 120 stars instead of 100 lives ;) how'd you find Yoshi? first get 100 lives and then he'd be there of course ;)

For what it's worth, I proved his explanation of how he got the time incomplete at best. It could be right, but then AKA would have to open all up and tell us everything. I'm not saying he's a liar nor do I care. I wouldn't become any better from it. We weren't pushing the runner (Jack) to use anything discussed. Actually the reasons it went how it did are 1) someone claims amazing time that needed explanation 2) I like to discuss

actually, this is the GoldenEye topic, and not the diss-Wouter topic. spam posts like yours (and this one of mine) don't belong here.
