how did this start anyway? did the guy post his video on youtube and... told some TAS'er "OMG look I did some crazy thing it will save you loads of time in your TAS" OR some TAS'er found and watched the video, saw something that could help improve the TAS, but then went on thinking it was fake but still kept asking how it was done? if it's something along the lines of the 2nd, then you guys are out of line and shouldn't be blaming the youtube guy for this.

lol I don't get how you can 'misclick', cuz you still have to submit after before it actually counts.

nice work again Sami! I have a question about downloading the m64. I can't check "do this automatically for files like this from now on" in Firefox because it's grayed out and thus I always have to click the radio box "save file" and press ok. not that I'm too lazy for that, but it would save me 2 clicks every time. so I tried some googling and found that it's usually caused by the server telling Firefox the file's MIME type is application/octet-stream and it seems Firefox won't ever allow that type to be automated. so I wonder if the owner of that server could maybe change it so it would be something like application/m64 for m64 files. thanks for any help in advance!

you guys should discuss which star to drop for the 120 star run, if you don't skip one it will be 121 stars.

I don't think you've seen the 120 stars run because it's hardly anything like you described.

well you're doing single levels, so you could redo the last level so that you can do this one optimally

well if you did what I said, it's still not working for me even though it worked when I did that with a mkv file on my own computer. could you send me the exact file in which you added the line?

well the easy way is to just set the $forcedownloads to true, but then you'd force everything to be dl'd, so you can also use the following: if(substr($_GET['download'], -3, 3)=='mkv') $forcedownloads = true; then it only sets it to true when the filename ends with mkv. just put this line right after the line: $forcedownloads = false; then it should work.

well I use Firefox and it loads all the data in the browser window as if it were a text file, clicking the icon next to the filename is the same link and does the same thing. I've made a webserver in class before so I'll look into it and see if I can give you some code to fix this =)

you should set it up so that it downloads the mkv files instead of trying to view it as a page.. now it requires using 'save as' which is sort of annoying. thanks for supplying these videos though =)
