obviously I'm biased, but this is the most entertaining TAS to date.
it looks pretty optimized as well for most of it.
a very well done and thank you for doing my favorite game.
can't wait to see more of all and any kind of GE TASes (or PD / TWINE)
I think the best side idea for GE would be a Dark LTK run.

hmm guess you won't like Beavis & Butthead then :p
so is this new encoding a better avi? (I'm one of the stuck at 81.6% suckers.. which I start refusing to stay like that from here on)

to avoid backboosts in drone room, you could try to manipulate the guard near the entrance door on the left, to boost you instead!
and yea, the drone doesn't kill the mainframes, it shoots through them.
you might want to try look for sections in the level that you can warp or something.
maybe shooting another box makes the chain complete faster.

does this game have 3 titles?
-Shadow of the Ninja
-Blue Shadow
-Kage
this must be the worst game ever if we talk about consistency (especially if you look at the tas history as well).

copied from the submissions page:
"70% (10)" means that 10 users have voted, and 70% of them say 'yes'.
so if I should read it in any other way, that line should be changed accordingly.
also, I wonder what % it would show if all votes are "meh". I'm sure it favors "no" then and is 0% (since none are yes!).

if it does, it does a lousy job at that. it does include the meh votes in the brackets, where it says 19 votes. when I read there are 19 votes, and 100% of them are yes votes, I would think it would be right that 19 votes are yes votes ~-~

something is wrong on the submission page
it says 100% are yes votes when in fact, 17 are yes, and 2 are meh.
copied the row from the table:
N64 The World is Not Enough in 31:30 Henrik Norgren (Wyster) 2007-08-17 new 100% (19) 100%

do the final box boosts actually save time? they look awkward.
like I suggested before, I think you may be underestimating the "wallstrafing", not doing it soon enough before leaving the safe.
one obvious: you can get the double door open where that lone guard is, just after getting Natalya. I think it only needs 2 shots after the corner just prior to opening 'her' door.
after the first box boost, you do another late shot to get the guard to open the door, which seems like you don't get through smoothly. is the box boost worth it?
see if it makes any difference to not do that pause at mishkin.
and yea, you already know the glass part at the end wasn't good.

2 are better than one, so you could both have your go at it, compete and compare, and make a final result together that might just benefit from 2 people doing it.

I think both any% and 100% would be good here too.
the dolls are also part of the game and they do give a special treat for collecting them all so I think it is worthy to do. surely it will also show more parts of the game, it's been a while for me but I bet some areas you'd never go to if not for the dolls.
I think any% would be better to start out with, but for me, either is just as good.

eh.. I doubt resets will save that much time since tases go by realtime, obv it saves a bunch for ingame time but for realtime maybe it even loses it should be tested anyhow.
also I think DK64 is a great game and deserves an any% AND 100% run. it's easily much more enjoyable than a whole 4,5 hours of chrono trigger.

hmm I think the rap should be in the end result video, just like how the intro music is in the solstice tases. the rap is way cooler too. and I wouldn't mind a fast rap either, sounds interesting.

and this is the exact reason why TAS'ers should provide savestates. I made one myself as usual, but only just before the level ended.. now a part is redone and I couldn't possibly have predicted where the change starts and thus where I would have had to make that savestate myself. thus, I'll still have to fastforward through what I've already seen and then hope I don't miss the change etc..
also, this has been mentioned before. besides, since the TAS'ers make savestates anyway (since they need to be able to go back to any point in the run), it should only take the small extra time of uploading one 1-MBish savestate file, which doesn't even take that long even if you were 56k modem still. I am putting up with not getting savestates provided, since this game is just too awesome, but many others I would easily pass up on and just wait till submission or so.

if that pausing thing also saves time on TAS, you should note that it does in the description when submitted, but that it isn't used because it takes away the entertainment. unless you plan to use it lol
