It looks like a lot of extra work went into detailing bits about the game and explaining what's going on--if this run does get brought over to TASVideos, it would be great to see translation!

601 rings? That's amazing. These are called atlas encodings? I really appreciate the zoomed out view to appreciate the planning that went into the route! Thanks for sharing. :)

Are you planning on doing 3 as well? :) I recall a few really tricky levels in it (but then again I was like 10 years old haha)

How long is the timer for the next random fruit appearance? Maybe that could help juggle things.

Are you sure the time saved taking damage twice in the Reverse Gravity stage is faster than saving a hit for later, in the upper right of the level? Looks nice so far. :) Amazing how much of the levels is optional, if you stick strictly to the crystals!

Getting all the rings in the trapezoid after the double S-curve by bouncing on two Buzz Bombers got an audible "Nice!" from me. :) Looked real slick!

I remember playing this 4p on GBAs with my friends, and seeing you rip through this so quickly is jaw-dropping. You've put a lot of time into this, Wobmiar! It looks great. :)

You're giving me flashbacks of playing this game with my aunt. She'd go down the pipe loop at the end of 2-1 over and over to collect those 8 coins until the level timer was almost up. Took forever, but it made her happy! Hahaha

Regardless of whether or not you actually lose speed, hitting the walls and hearing Tails go "Ugh!" seems pretty sloppy... there were a few cases where it looked really avoidable, too! I'm not 100% familiar with the way you gain Boost, but if it's every X number of rings, is there a reason you hold on to a Boost while collecting additional rings? It seemed as if you had opportunities to boost that you didn't... Somewhat disappointed you didn't play with the dialogue. "Tails, did you find the President?" "Almost, Sonic--just a few more POWER BOOST!"

It looked like the sewer glitch was related to trying to do the fold&tumble effect on the non-existent partner.

That was surprisingly entertaining! I wonder what the estimated time to launch a rocket is?

Aren't the Foppies in Master Belch's lair pretty good for a quick boost, too?

The two branches would almost assuredly have to be different runs, seeing as you have to invest a great deal of extra time racking up the kills for Genocide. Yes, people want to see the Sans fight done TAS-style, but you have to admit the Pacifist route done quick will still be fun to watch. :)

Oh my God, that was incredible. :) This level was always such a struggle for me, playing single player. Seeing that was jaw-dropping. Great job!!

Is this the game where you can possess one of your units and go first-person with it? I recall that making combat ridiculously easy.

There was a Game Genie code that let you grab white blocks out of mid-air on every level, but it always crashed on Level 1-6 because of the moving platforms... I wonder if there's a way to do a run of THAT one! Haha

That was really fun to watch! :) Was the underwater Tails grip-jump really faster? Is there a spring beneath or not? That was the only part that I questioned.

Agreed about the music--I wasn't sure if it was a glitch you were exploiting to keep the same music or what, but it was nice to not hear the same 4 measure loop incessantly announcing your invincibility. :) I'm sure the special stages have been analyzed to their core and back, so I'm not going to claim anything is improvable, but I definitely was curious about why you'd choose to turn spheres blue instead of turning a box into rings, in some cases.

Haha wow! As I was watching, I was originally going to comment "...Is there a reason you didn't hit Tiny the first time around?" but then I noticed the Jump Counter, and so I skipped ahead a bit. 25 Crystals!? Woah!

Oh! I'd forgotten the tiles on the floor changed races. It's been years since I've played this game. :) Looks good, with that in mind!
