Even with 2 characters (dunno if it's possible)
Only the SFC Sailor Moon beat 'em ups feature a co-op mode. The SFC Sailor Moon brawlers have a player indicator on each cursor at the character select screen. We shall start looking into one of them, maybe Sailor Moon R, but don't choose Chibiusa because she just flat out cheeses the game. I'm not quite sure about it, though. From what I've seen, you encounter the same enemies over and over and that can get boring quickly. Yet the Rushing Beat trilogy still kinda keeps me immersed.

Max and Skate are the most entertaining characters to watch IMO. I'm not really into speed running higher difficulty settings due to more enemies showing up, they have more health, move faster and they have higher A.I. levels. Some enemies have moves that they only do on higher difficulty settings. For someone who likes to hack SOR2&3, you can always look up the enemy info via Hex Editor.

Did anyone else grow familiar with the JP soundtrack thanks to Sonic the Hedgehog Screensaver?

how many people really think this should be starred?
I do think this should be starred. Also because the game is challenging even on the lowest difficulty setting.

What does Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii have over the original, that makes it worth having an entry here at TASVideos?

I guess my memories would include: Beating Ninja Gaiden (NES) several times. Watching episodes of Doraemon and a few other Fujiko Fujio anime before the English Dub of Doraemon that airs on Disney XD. Boycotting GameFAQs' community for good :) Used to traditionally use Windows XP, but since I got a new computer and the sound card I have doesn't support Windows XP, I'm using Windows 7 now. Great, not with this "loli" thing, it doesn't sound right to me. If I were to use that term in real life, who would know what that means?

BTW, I noticed all the music was different compared to the regular stages. Isn't that Mystic Caves tune supposed to be from the Hidden Palace stage?
Yes, the 2-player stages all have different music. In the iOS/Android remake, Hidden Palace Zone uses 2-player Mystic Cave Zone's music.

This pirate does seem to be remotely enjoyable. The grammar cracks me up. As for the story, my best guess is that Sakuyamon wants to take over the world, so he brainwashes loads of Digimon and makes them more powerful. It's really hard for me to understand. I took screenshots of all the boss dialogue. Oh, and it looks like a few backgrounds were stolen from Nangoku Shounen Papuwa-kun abd Battle Zeque Den.

Sorry to bump this old thread. Characters wielding swords and riding on animals = Golden Axe ripoff? In Golden Axe the characters use magic potions, in this game the characters use the traditional Fight-Fight-style special system. I agree with the repetitiveness, though. It's annoying that the enemies take like 1/3 of your health. But I like both Golden Axe and this game, even though I've played Golden Axe many years before. And yeah, 2 Players does add more enemies (such as two more Tall Men during the 2nd section of Stage 7) and there was some slow down that I noticed during a 2 Player session. Would it be possible to manipulate random food drops from some enemies, so you'd have more health for more special moves? For those who want to try the Arcade version, there's this page which documents the RNG. RNG abuse in the Arcade version might be interesting.

Glad to see this game finally TASed after all these years.
My thoughts exactly. I like the Super Star Wars games for the music and the graphics, but they're just too hard.

Link to videoThis obscure game is one of my favorite SFC games, so I did an extremely sloppy test run. It's basically a simple elimination side-scroller. It looks like it took some inspiration from the King of Dragons. The game features multiple routes you can choose from, labeled as Easy and Hard. Corse and Lemin are chosen because they appear to kill enemies in fewer hits (4 hits against the crocodiles as opposed to 6 hits from El and Nora). Corse is overall the best character in the game. While Lemin is faster and jumps higher than him, her attacks have long startup and it can be hard to hit airborne enemies. I choose all Easy stages except for Sky, because it includes enemies that are invincible when they're curled up into balls and the bosses take longer to defeat.

I dunno, but I think the Sonic 4 bootleg would be redundant since we already have Speedy Gonzales. What differences with the levels are there?

One of the many Mega Drive bootlegs that uses the Sound Engine from High Seas Havoc. The music sounds horrible. I can't stand this game's physics.

I used to like trying to TAS this game. Suffice to say, the engine and music composition are horrible. Now I've been inspired to try Digimon 4, which is also brought to us by Yong Yong.

MoleBox is a type of software where you can compress multiple files into a single EXE file. I don't think I should share the link because it's not Freeware. Here is a GIF of an EXE file compiled in MoleBox, running in Hourglass.

Apparently, running a MoleBox'd M.U.G.E.N. exe automatically advances frames even with Hourglass paused. Not sure why. What would be the recommended settings for mugen.cfg? I was too fed up with the constant crashing, so I only finished 1 Round for now. Link to video But still, it's a good thing that it's supported.

Would also like Doraemon 4, a 2-player Super Mario Bros.-style platformer. However, 2 players = 2 character voices which wastes time. Like in Doraemon 2, Suneo moves faster than all the other characters.

This game seems too difficult to learn how to play. I have no idea what those 4 characters' purpose was.

I used SORRv5 on Hourglass a few times. The Stage Clear Bonuses can't be skipped.
