There is a game called Achievement Unlocked where you simply have to unlock 100 achievements to beat it. OK, doesn't have so much to do with the actual topic, but I thought I'd mention it.
Damage reduction reduces damage you take, but it does not negate it. So you still will take damage (even if not that much), unless you meant absolute reduction (however a lot of monsters will do way more damage than you can possibly negate).
In multiplayer it would be probably relativly easy to go for no damage though.
I'm not sure if a takes-no-damage run would be possible if you were skilled enough. It would however require insane luck and reflexes. With tool-assistance however, this should be doable.
Really? I thought it would be something impossibly hard.
But yeah, taking no damage from bosses shouldn't be that hard. A good sorceress can surely do Baal-runs damageless.
Yeah, I know, but at least this wouldn't be that kind of achievement every player has. But seriously, Left 4 Dead has a similar achievement (this is where I have derived mine from), which is also probably ridiculously hard.
Diablo 2:
Godlike: Beat the game on all three difficulties single-segmented on hardcore.
Epic Fail: Get killed by Diablo (Baal) on Hell mode on hardcore.
Nothing special: Beat the game without taking damage
If somebody is going to try this game, should it be a glitched or non-glitched run? I am asking because the succubus glitch is completely (sp?) broken, and a non-glitched run might be more interesting.
Actually, all Aria-of-Sorrow-Soma runs are quite annoying... the game mechanics is pretty complex, it is impossbile to tell if you have done things perfectly.
TASing this game takes forever. I started a run of this game at the time I had joined this forum and I havn't finished it yet =/
I suppose since you're going No Damage saving e'en a single hit against Graham (2nd form) would save a bundle of time, due to less need of dodging the hands, and in decreasing value, Julius and Balore.
Have you seen my other WIP? I defeated Graham so fast that he wasn't able to perform a single attack.
And yeah, I meant Golem, not Iron Golem. lol
So I will test which path is the fastest.
I got a question.
The previous strategy for Floating Garden was:
upper path (Iron Golem, skipped) -> lower path (Manticore, killed) -> lower path (2 Werewolves, both skipped)
I am now thinking of a different way:
lower path (2 Werewolves + 1 Disc Armor, kill all 3) -> lower path (Manticore) -> lower path (2 Werewolves, skip both) (I don't know if I should skip Manticore or not)
I want to change the previous strategy because I want to kill 1 Werewolf to get its Black Belt.
What do you think?
I only have one question though, which I probably should have mentioned ages ago:
Why get 2 rotten meats? One rotten meat is more than enough, as the small amount of extra HP you get back from using the succubus soul on graham aren't enough to impede on the bonuses given by the lubicant soul.
I got 320 HP. One rotten meat reduces my HP by 200, so I need 2 in order to get 1 HP. Besides, by unequiping Succubus at the right frame, it is possible to finish Graham off without getting +5 HP (I did so in my other run).
Thanks for the positive feedback =)
