I don't think so. I guess it is more complicated than a simple memory address (but I could be wrong). It surely would make dialogs more easily, though.

What the roflcopter! Very nice run. It is amazing that you can get good equipment like final sword even if start at a very low level. I wonder what happens, if you you equip Lubicant with 0HP? Maybe infinte damage, would be very nice :D Edit: I tested it, it doesn't seem to be much better than with 1HP.

Your WIP looks good so far. However, I noticed that you walked up stairs. In most games it is faster to jump over stairs instead of just walking. Have you tested that? Btw, I also forgot how awesome this games' music is.

As I learned in Harmony of Dissonance, turbo A is still not the best way to go through text, no matter if you do it on an even or odd frame. It's hard to describe, but sometimes one character has more than one text box, and it takes 3-4 different presses of A on varying frames to get through each paragraph, where turbo would lose 2-3 frames. It might take 5 frames for the first paragraph to go through, then 4 frames for the next, then 6 for the next, then 3, etc. etc. Trust me, with rerecords and such you have the ability to make something as simple as texts optimal, and turbo text really is only the way to go when two different buttons have the exact same effect, such as A or B, so that you can spam and A and B every other frame so that every frame has input that can make the dialogue go.
As I said, the dialogs are optimal. In most cases, a person has only one text box, and in this case, auto-fire is possible. In the rare case a person has multiple boxes I test every frame. Check it out, you shouldn't be able to do it faster.

Yrr, that armor fight is sweet... One minor suggestion for the WIP: it looks as though you are turbo-ing through the dialog, dropping frames occasionally. Very entertaining, regardless!
I thought somebody would mention this sooner or later. No, the dialogs are optimal. You are right, I use auto-fire a lot. Mainly I test it on an even frame and then on an odd frame, this works in most cases.

I also have a question. What is your handedness? Maybe left-handed, cross-handed or possibly even ambidextrous (=both-handed)? However I guess you are right-handed.

Awesome Great Armor fight! I'll vote Yes just for this! BTW, people say that I may have some secret projects on this game, since I knew that 1 game can have more than 3 movies. ;)
Good to know. Thanks! Best of all, since I have now finished the first part of the game, motivation floats back to me. I actually think that AoS deserves more than 3 or 4 movies. There should also be a Julius and a Soma boss rush, and maybe even a Julius mode 100% run Oo

Yay! Finally a new WIP from me! -> Klick <- Some notes: 1. Yeah, I did a bad job getting combat knife, but this is best I could do. 2. I got Skeleton soul. Accidentally. Well, it makes the run smoother. 3. To make up for the combat knife, I was able to get catoblepas' soul without delay. 4. Great Armor got totally raped. I used catoblepas not only to attack faster but also for some extra damage. And I got his soul qiuckly, too.

Also, knowing you handled lag very well in this game, would you consider tasing Super R-Type for SNES? That one lags a lot and I would love to see how you would handle the lag + its a very entertaining game.
I actually have tased R-Tape 3 (before I joined this site). I thouhgt of trying it again after finishing my AoS run.

It looks like he's using glitches.

The plan is to do a non-warping 100% run after this one, if I enjoy it. Kennel world offers immediate access to all the upgrades, most of the keys, infinite heart containers and secret seashells, and the like. Adding those to this run would add nothing to the entertainment, so I'm just doing a minimalist run, and possibly a non-warping 100% later.
Yeah, 100% with that glitch is kinda pointless. Seeing it done without those warp-glitches would be very nice, though. Btw, I've found a small glitch on youtube: http://youtube.com/watch?v=GWrdkpNRj9w After you re-enter the dungeon, you can walk through walls. Do you use DX version or the black-white version?

Good run! A lot of places aren't done optimal, however you have done an extremly good job on luck-manipulation. There were almost no delays. Looks very good so far! Which route are going to take? Just an idea: might it possible to use headhunter soul? If you are going to get a lot of souls it should make you really strong.

Well, it is not tool-assisted, but rather bot-assisted. And solving MW with luck-manipulation would be boring. In theory it is possible to solve even the expert board with a single click in one second. Some people solved the beginner's board with it. Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbM2o7izFgs&feature=related Solves the expert in one second ;)

Hi guys! Sorry for the late replay, I've been busy the last weeks. So no update of my run. I'm still stuck at that §%$#&! combat knife. But I am still alive and want to continue soon.
