laggy compared to what? bizhawk is not the least laggy emulator, but it's not introducing substantial lag compared to your OS, audio, and video.
Its nothing that I can even notice if I am watching... like I press a button, and it appears to be an instant reaction. But if I am playing a game, sometimes it seems like I pressed something and the game didn't react as quickly as I pressed the button, like just a couple of frames off. But it could all just be placebo in my mind. I haven't played a lot of these games in decades. But in any case, it is much less pronounced after turning on the vsync.

zeromus: vsync throttle definitely seems to be smoother. I think I'm good now. Still seems very slightly laggy, but could just be due to my controller, or placebo.

I recently came across bizhawk, and have been testing it out on some NES games, but it just feels really "off" to me. There seems to be some slight lag on my input, and the animation/scrolling looks a little choppy, even though I am getting a constant 60fps. Are there any settings I can tweak that might help with this? I have already made sure that vsync was disabled. Thanks!
