VMWare player is free. And you can find on the internet a way to create an empty linux virtual machine, on which you could install ubuntu.

In spark man, would it be possible to use Rush to be faster ? And I think you might have lost some frame near frame 43000 you use rush, but you jump doesn't seems optimal.

Automatic Update is evil, It makes your computer reboot by not asking you and then you lose some job by not saving your stuff before quitting the office. Not that it has happened to me ^^;

Every two months would be nice. For the DVD part, it could be done on the side. The best that could be done, is to setup an ecommerce section to this site, selling the DVD. It would be easier for those who don't want to pay a montly fee or a one shot deal.

Along with Subscription (which would cover only the next movies) you could make Theme based DVD that you could sell like 10$ each. Which would be a compilation of Action based movies, RPG movies, etc... or NES movies, SNES movies. I don't know how much job it could be, but maybe people could choose the run they want to see on a DVD and just buy it. That way, it would be custom DVD. I would certainly like to buy a DVD with the 100% run of Super Metroid (with the Input)

It would be nice if it was playable on a DVD player and it would be nice if it could include some extra. Like High quality video and maybe a WIP section. If the videos were of higher quality and if I could play it in a DVD player, I would subscribe.

Is double jumping faster ? Or does it takes more time to perform because you do it a lot of time where it isn't necessary.

I wouldn't be accepted because it's a modified emulator that modify the way the emulation is handle. So it would be faster, but it wouldn't be possible to publish it.

Well actually, it's sure that I will boot the system on a USB Key. That's the best thing to do and it's the fastest. It's also pretty cheap. 24/24 ... I might have said 24/7 like always running ? arflech : the system needs to be more powerful than that. I might use a couple of PS3, but then again the price is a little concern, but I'll take a look.

It's impossible to go after a couple of battle. As the land didn't crashed, it is impossible to enter the tower. It would be nice to have a super powered character, but then it would seems so easy that it wouldn't worth it. It would remove all the awsomeness of the game.

Might be a good thing, but for the stat increased, the first time you can get hit by Muddle 2 is a couple of battle after the Nazca ship. Maybe you could try the japanese version. It's less fun to watch, but if it cuts the time a lot. Like being able to manipulate double hit without having to care about being hit.

Well, it's possible, but only for a couple of seconds, due to the computing power that it requires. If it was possible for every TAS, there's wouldn't be any TASer. It's just a brute force of a combinaison of keys for a couple of second.

Hum I'm pretty sure the compression is at the maximum withing the AVI, and I don't think it can be compress much more. EDIT : well it can be compress a little bit, I took Rockman TAS 28megs down to 24megs but it's not much...

I don't think the problem is in processing power, it would be in bandwidth. Holding a website + every torrent would be a little bit demanding on bandwidth.
