I don't think it worth it. It's extremely long. I fought this battle once, using low-leveled charater and you hit about 1 every round. So it would take almost 200 turns to kill Lemon, which is very very very [...] long. The blizzard is not reusable. You should probably just beat the game as fast as possible, I'll be sure to look at your progress to found some optimisation that you may have missed. I'll try to look in details to the WIP you provided. To be sure you didn't miss something (like the Mitril that is right up when you go down the hole in the jail. There's another one before the crash of the boat. It might be better than getting the evil shot, and I don't think that the Evil shot would save much time. Getting the fact that you have you need three character and you need to finish the battle too. And Elric is slow as hell. I don't know if power water really worth the lost frame (you can find one in the temple where you find the sword of light). I don't think that Kiwi is a great choice either, he became strong, but you won't be able to level him up. If you have to concentrate on three character I would say Bowie Slade and Peter. Magician are useless if you are able to double hit when you want. Do you plan on getting May ? Luke is pretty useless, but you may be able to find a strategy like you did in Shining Force 1. I never really used Skreetch but is he good ? You have it before the temple where you can get Taya. And who do you plan to get at Creed ? Karna might be a good choice beause of Boost.

It's impossible to get Sheela, we found another way to skip the battle with Lemon, but there's a battle between battle 6 and Sheela. I think it takes too much time to get the Evil Shot, and I don't know if it will save that much time. Maybe After Creed, or for the chess battle if you manipulate Elric to gain a level and be level 20 (could get the Brave Apple before that battle). Then it might save time, but there's another factor to manipulate, and that's the cursed of the weapon which can freeze you. What trigger the opening of the last battle is the crash after you escape from the earthquake. When you look at the battle, when the land crashed, the opening is already there. What trigger the Prism flower is the Nazca ship that crash. There's not really skippable battle in the game. There's a couple of shortcut, but I can't think of a battle that could be skipped with the trick of getting on map that you can't usually.

Even if I don't TAS, I really liked the movie of Sparster I think, with the hitbox drawn to the screen. it could be really nice for TASer. I personnaly likes how it was done. And it could be useful in a lot of place. Would it me possible to do gui.writetext(x,y, text) EDIT : I don't know exactly how it works, but is it possible to enabled and disabled the some part of the scripting ? Like I can script a convinient way to show information about the main character (like attack, defence etc) but I want it to be shown when I want (once in a while)

Could you make an option to make backup automatic ? That way, it could save a couple of mistake.

The best way to know if it's entertaining, do a WIP of the first two level, and show it. It would be easier than trying to remember this game that most people haven't played in the past 5-10 years.

It seems like recreating ZSNES's key combonation feature (with graphical symbols instead of text and different commands, like "tap A" or "hold/release A" and "wait x frames" would be easier.
We just need to develop a Macro editor :P It would be easy, and yet powerful :P Edit : it would be nice to keep a standard syntax, it could be used by other emulator.

Wow... What a statement. You know, I am perfect "if" not including everything that is not perfect from me.

Well there must be atleast on full run, then you can improve part from the beggining, and progress in the run. I don't think there's a lot of other way to do it.

For the route making, it would be easier with a base, make a run of the game, then ask people for possible improvement. Redo a run, and ask again. You'll be able to refine the route easily.

Did someone created a Mario 64 page on this site ? It would be easier so organize this page with all the information you know. That way, you could just refer new commers to that page.

Are you using Ctrl and Alt as buttons ? If so, you should change to something like z and x.

That's a little rude how you said this. It would be nice for people beggining to know how to use frame advance, memory watch, to know how to find memory address.

Meh, it wasn't entertaining. That's a bad game choice.

a weak yes vote, I don't think that it was a good game choice. It was barely entertaining and it just seems that I could have done almost the same thing without frameadvance. I mainly watch it in fast foward.
