Well it was just in the beginning, I was just wondering if you could past the 6 knights at the end of the level, but then again, if you kill enemies on your way, it removes x turns that the enemy won't get. I think it could save times. I'm not currently able to test anything (I got a lot of work to do, and I don't have time for a couple of weeks) but I'll be sure to watch the video and to give my feedback, I don't know that much about Shining Force 1, I got through it a couple of time, but I'm sure used to Shining Force 2, which is the same battle engine. Anyway you have my full support in the completion of this game :)

upthorn : you forgot an important factor, it seems that the computer "think" before acting, it seems to cause a delay more important that just turn number. (Which is another argument to kill more enemies). Another factor is the cursor movement, it takes times, if you kill enemies, the cursor wont have to go Up right to a enemies, then down left all the way of the battle field, then return somewhere else. If it's a big battle field less enemies means less movement cursor.

I think that it can be improved by maybe one minute due to better double and triple combo.

I don't know if it was rejected before this comment, but isn't it a little fast to reject for quality purpose before knowing why the author's made this. I didn't watch the improvement, but is it still valid ? hisatoki doesn't seems to approve your improvement, so why does this get rejected before having a better discussion about this ?

Is this picture part of the background ? If not, it might be possible put it into an endless table, with 2 rows one with the logo, and the second that takes the remaining space.

Is it me, or the luck is affected by the key you press when enemy is moving ? Also in the third battle I think that May could have killed a couple of enemies to reduce the number of turns taken by the computer, instead of advancing in fury with Max. I think it would have reduce the number of turns. Also you should have killed Kris sooner, because she took quite some turns. And that took times

What about a competition, like two person program their own bot to play a fighting game, and then you run the two players, and based on the memory address, it would be a fight to death :P That would be interesting.

Then unless you convince the author to implement rerecording, I don't think it will be possible.

For that part I don't know, I was not able at that moment to find the formula for critical hit and misses.

Dromiceius, you seems to have the same conclusion as me, there seems to be two RNG number, and one frame counter. The first RNG number changes when you are not in a menu, and the second one changes when you are in a menu.

I do have a severe lack of patience. I'm workin' on that, though.
That's why I don't TAS ;)

I just played throught SF2 two weeks ago on my nintendo DS. It was fun, I didn't remember most of the speech, and I end up with an usual team, pretty different from the one I was using when I was a child. But I was like Mechuyael, I was playing this game month after month.

Well I think that the reason while it does not achived is goal, it's because you can pin point a couple of place where the movie could be better, thus, it's not as fast as possible for the moment.

So would you be able to make it act on frame specific instead of as it comes ?

Will you be able to take no damage even with magic, or you can manipulate enemies to attack you instead of using magic ? I hope that you could attack Shining Force 2 :P I would be glad to help you :) I just watched the video, how to you manage to manipulate 6 misses, without having the controls of the characters ?

That could be an option. Like anonymous donator that don't want their name revealed.

I like innovative game, but I mostly don't watch submission that are something other than SNES unless there's an .avi that I can download to watch it.
