Sorry if I can't comment much on what's happening. It easy on a platformer to see a bad move or something, or on a game a really know, but I don't know that game much. Really great run by the way ;) I hope to see that entirely soon :P And if you could write in the submission the "story" that happens, it would be nice :P Because as you skip all cut scenes, we don't really know what's the story :P

If you don't continu from your first movie, you'll have multiple .m64. But it will be almost impossible to put them back together and sync them. I might be possible with a nes or snes games, but it's unlikely. You should always work with only one movie file.

I don't know, I think some people got a pass to it and linked most of them. It should be easy to verify, in the pages you'll find every filename of the movies. So it should be easy to compare it with the data of the site.

If you want to start, it might be easier to start with a NES or SNES games, as you will have a lot more support than with FBArr.

Prior to 2009-01-01, you can find pretty much every movies on archive.org. You can search for ZeXr0 and you'll find some big list of TAS movies.

Yeah, I do the same thing as you Alden. But I personnaly don't care much, I just think it's more logical to have in order of older to newer than the other way.

Maybe movie, and she prefer using Windows, she have been using linux for the past 2 weeks and doesn't like it. It mostly for in the house, she won't transport it often. So the weight does not matter in that case. She needs a full size keyboard. I'm not stuck on those two models, but I'm stuck with TigerDirect, unless there's a really better deal (I have some kind of rebate with my company)

I like how the forums name would be renamed. I prefer older first, because it will be confusing I think. The order on the emulator board will be different than the order of the runs board. In any case, I prefer older first.

Hi, I'm looking to buy a Laptop for my girlfriend. I want to order from TigerDirect.ca The main use for the laptop will be internet stuff, and maybe some games (Sims2-3, stuff like that) I'm presented with two laptop, and I don't know which one to choose. http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5307938&CatId=17 http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=5220689&sku=T71-15607&srkey=T71-15607 Those are the two computer I found (if you found other one go ahead, just remember that it must be on TigerDirect.CA in Canada). Can you help me with that kind of stuff ? Thanks

I don't think you should take damage to save time. There's a tag for that. Ignores delays causes by bonus effect. It make the run look more sloppy that way :( Also, this game really lack the original sound "WouTA!" after every each punch or kick :P

Yeah I'll have a new laptop soon, and even if I don't really want to be an officiel publisher, I might try to encode some WIP and test run. Is there anyway advantage to use something other than Archive.org to upload the movies ?

Great idea. It should be noted that archive.org too allow to stream an embed. And Zerx0 and ninkeo upload a lot of video on archive.org so they all available Example

Maybe the Concept demos section is a wrong title ? Maybe we could call it something like Video Vault or any better name (I know that this one sucks). But essentialy, it would be a place to publish videos that doesn't fit in the main category. It would have the same voting system, and the question could be something like, Should this video be place in the Video Vault ? or something like that. It would be a collection of nice video without any specific goal. I don't know if it's a good idea.

SRAM corruption is one thing, but SRAM corruption while saving and doing a Hard Reset is another thing. I don't really like the corrupted save file while saving. Can we be sure that the reset button is how it is emulated ? Anyway I would prefer having this kind of runs in their own category.

I like the idea but you shouldn't vote for it to be a demo, it should be posted in the demo section. If a video is in the wrong section, users will be able to comment about that fact and the video could be moved.

I don't think that the link for the youtube video is good. Seems to be pointing to the wrong video.
