Not too sound cliché, but it's a pretty accurate ad considering the kind of site TASVideos is :P

I got some space on a FTP, but wouldn't it be possible to make a big torrent with the emulator in it, and update the torrent once in a while. It could be possible to include every version of every emulator, and people can just select the emulator they want. That way, it would be easy to host all the emulators.

I saw that in other forums, but wouldn't it be possible to have a special tag that reduce the size of the image, unless it is clicked ?

I watch a little part... I think you could have watch the run in segment and do better comments. There's a couple of place where you don't really know what's coming up or what's happening with the glitch.

It's much more difficult that it looks. The emulator must be frame based, and must emulate the OS the same way on every run. If the computer lag, it might not do the same behavior. In that way, it would be impossible to TAS on it. And there's a lot of work to do. It's not that easy. You have to record input, play back input, savestate and loadstate (which would be pretty big, you have to copy the entire RAM in a file. Something like 512megs.) It's pretty difficult but I guess someone with enought knowledge could look at that.

I got some in english, but most of the time it's spanish. I know that you can configure a couple of thing on google adsense, but I never used it.

Nice run, I'll be sure to follow that, as long as it's encoded and put on youtube :) Thanks Kirkq for the encode.

That would be really nice if it was possible. It's probably harder to encode but the end results is very nice :)

Yeah the encoding it pretty nice ! I really like it. Maybe every NDS games should be encoded like this when there's no action on the second screen (Where the action does not happen on both screen). I don't know if it would be hard to make the active screen switch from the first one to the second one. Like in New Super mario Bros (when you enter a pipe, the action is at the bottom of the screen)

That means that not every game will have a TAS published for it. Some game are just plain boring, and can not make it to the front page because of that. Even if the TAS is perfect, it can be rejected. If there's no major difference between OoT and MQ, then MQ won't be published.

In the youtube video at 1:29, you jump on a platform and it doesn't seems to be necessary At 2:45 : You get a bonus ball, I don't think it's necessary.

Wow the lag is terrible in this game. The game makes the run looks sloppy.

Yeah, and I think it would be a good start for those that just want to ask quick question. Serious TASer that needs more information would have to post in the appropriate forums, but they could have help on how to ask that or that information. I don't think it would create a Second-Class forums. And it's for most of people that usually don't post in the forums. I'm a native french speaker, and I won't stop posting just because there's a thread where I can post in French.

I don't know if it would be a good idea, but in the newbie corner section, there could be a thread like Discussion en francais (Discussion in french). So that people that are not native english speaker could that there and ask question, instead of posting directly. It could be either to ask to translate a post or something like that. It would make integration much easier. There could be one for every language that people need. In that case French would only be allowed in this thread and not in general discussion thread. That would remove the clutter of other language, and help new commer. What do you think ?

Ah the infamous UAC. A step in the right direction, yet so miserably broken in practice. All it does is cause pains, problems and annoyance. Programs just don't ask for administrator rights when they should, making UAC rather useless. I always disable it, since it gets in the way of using the computer.
I don't find it intrusive in Windows 7. Never got annoyed by this, I don't know, It almost never pop for me. Unless an old software really need administrator rights. And once it's accepted for a software, it will always be for the life of that application.

I never had problem with Windows 7 and I've been using it for about 6 month now. The only thing that didn't worked was Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 (It's not a big deal...) Other than that, I find it pretty neat and the new taskbar is very useful. I feel lost everytime I get back on my work computer with Windows XP.

Double jobs.... get a full-time reasonable job (something related to your unfinished education? you didn't specify your edu and/or skills) then get an additional job you can do (I'd suggest one you can do from your home and with a flexible schedule.... such as some web design/dev companies will use)
That's exactly what I'm doing. I have two jobs for a couple of month to pile some cash. It's better than trying to find a way to make more money, there is no way. Unless you do illegal things, you have to work to get money. There's no other way. Some jobs are better paid than others.

Yeah me too, unless it saves a lot of frames, but I don't think that's the case.
