Yeah that would be nice to see that. I don't why people don't have a little interrest in this. There was something that started to organize but no one had participate...
Actually, we are not very friendly, you just have to ask it correctly and find a good summer day with a big sun in the sky. Else you would get smashed by the other people :P
I would suggest that you start with a NES game to start TASing, it might be easier to get the touch of all that stuff.
I don't understand the logic behind this either. Is there some special rules other than the pokemon being shiny ? Why is it useless ? Is a normal pokemon more useful than the same pokemon shiny ?
I agree that when it's not very relevant, or part of the game play, it should be smaller, most of the games uses the seconds screen for menu, maps, information other than the main screen. Like Chrono Trigger DS, The bottom screen is almost never used.
But when the screen are considered on top of each other, then there should be no gap.
I suggest that a line of 1 pixel height should be added here though, to see what belongs to which screen.
Like I (and others) said in the DS group, I think it would be a good idea to scale one of the screens considerably smaller if it doesn't contain relevant information, like is the case with the super mario game. (In this case the screens could also be side-by-side, to make the video widescreen rather than "tallscreen". The extra empty space could be used for something else, eg. input display.)
I really like this idea. When the screen is not meant to be on top of each other, it would be best if they were side by side.
I also like adding a DS image, pretty much like what is done with the Super Gameboy.
Unless it's luck manipulation, you moved Sarah over a character for no apparent reason on battle 5
You also manipulated a way for Bowie to block the attack of the knight (with the spear) but he finish the battle without getting hit. Is it necessary ?
Your luck manipulation is really great. I like what you did with Sarah when it took a couple of seconds to manipulate something.
It's good looking :P This walk a square away trick will prove to be useful.
Good job :P
I would put the gap only when it matters. When the movie should have a gap, put it. But when the screen are considered on top of each other, then there should be no gap.
In games like New Super Mario Bros, it doesn,t make a difference if there's a gap or not. But I does make sens in Yoshi Island DS.

It doesn't work for me, I'm using Google Chrome. I get no result. In fact, I'm not even sure it works, it just seems to reload the same page.
EDIT : doesn't work in IE too
The problem is really a point of view problem. What's the probability of getting 15 times head ? It's the same as getting 14 times head and 1 time tail... It seems more unlikely because 15 times is a high number, but it's the same probability with lottery. You have the same chance of the 14 19 25 36 40 45 than getting 1 2 3 4 5 6.
I must say that I'm with OmegaWatcher on that one.
Also, I think that someone want to vote, should at least say, hum a movie of <insert> that should be interesting. After watching it, if you found it boring, you can vote no.
But when you know you don't like that genre of game or that particular game, voting no is kind of pointless.
Then again, the question is if you liked the movie not if you like that movie withing that particular genre.
I know that there's a bias for long RPG, but then again, most people seems to like this.
Oh by the way, the judges takes comment into consideration before accepting or rejecting a movie, I don't think that, I don't like that kind of game have a great impact to make a decision.
