zer0, did it desync on you at the end of the train station w/ the rocketeer looking bosses? id tried this a while ago but gave up because it kept desyncing at that point. but yes, a very good looking game.
Indeed, it does :/ Hm I hope I can get rid of it if I should decide to continue it sometime

I sure as hell am not going to do an all-emeralds run. I won't bother with it. IMO the planning-effort that would be necessary for this is far too high in relation to the entertainment value.

For the current available systems I would choose a Secret of Mana 3-players movie, that would be so awesome :D For other systems I'd have to go with TLoZ: Ocarina of Time too

hm there wasn't too much motivation from my side, no progress at all Maybe I'm going to get at it again today, once I'm into it the motivation comes again anyway :) Hm about the special stages and final boss, I have no clue. I'll go through the game without collecting any at all and see what happens, maybe even today

And uhm, I hadn't sleeped for about 26 hours so I was a tiny bit tired Yeah, same as the first picture, just from another point of view uhm lol, I was bored Zer0 Wars V - The Boredom Strikes Back... and how it strikes back!!! me and my kitten lying there in harmony That's about it for me for the moment. In day 3, there is one jump where you use the double jump really early (sorry I wasn't counting frames) and you just barely miss the platform. Could you have timed the double jump later so you could hit the platform?
I'm not sure where exactly you mean. I think the route was good.
I think you missed a shot fighting the boss in stage 9, but that might just be me.
Ohh, I think you are right. There's one shot that passes the enemy, I'm not sure if that shot counted as a hit. I don't feel like redoing anything or hexediting because of that one shot :/
In day 12 you jump down the shafts in the later areas of the stage (to increase fall speed), but you don't do this earlier in the stage. Any reason why?
I only do that at times where I need to do a jetjump to defeat an enemy that is right at an edge. Hm maybe I could really have saved off a few frames with better usage of the acceleration
It seems like you ended the movie awfully late. Why didn't you end it before the victory music?
You can press start at the end of a level to skip the scene where it calculates bonus points and stuff, I did that and then ended movie.
F... thats France right? (for the ROM used). is there any reason you went with that? i've never played Vectorman, but it just caught my eye on the submission page.
I wasn't able to find another rom than that, all romsites I looked only had that thing. Zurreco tried it with a W (JUE, World) rom and it played fine without desync. Gens autodetects the thing as a NTSC rom. So maybe the F rom is just labeled false everywhere...

There's an E version? I didn't think the game was released in Europe. The only cart I could find after hours and hours of searching was an australian version, which just happens to be PAL, and seeming as the first wasn't released there it was called the first one (which makes some sorta sense with the storyline). It is an official cart and all. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this movie. I still haven't finished the game yet (it'll take me years as i usually loose interest then when i come back i start the game from the beginning!). I haven't honestly played it much so i don't know about the capsule monsters... I'm certainly looking forward to this though!
Lufia II is called only Lufia in Europe, Lufia I wasn't released here

I think I'll give Vectorman a try. I need a little break from Secret of Mana.
I would say that I'm interested in making a speedrun, except reading how many rerecords and recounts are necessary makes my brain hurt. I wonder if I would have the patience to play a game at 1/10 speed, or even 6% speed, to make a speedrun.
Just give it a try, it isn't as painfull as it sounds, the games can be fun to play, even if at <50% of the real speed

I just remembered a rare odd glitch on an actually console when I played on it long ago. When you get Sprite, he started out alot duplication of beginning green cape (it was full inventory of it). I don't have any idea how to do it, I just remembered that I named the sprite "ANT" and looked up the inventory, whoa what just happened?.. I tried the same name "ANT", it didn't happen again. If this glitch actually used in the run, you could have a few more cash to spend if you sell it all. It's something to look up for... (I could play around with savestate before dwarf cave on emu, but im having trouble with configuring control)
Thank you, I'll test a little bit around when I've got time

I saw the movie, and I wonder about the party AI. In some spots, the computer characters get stuck and slow you down. Maybe by changing their AI settings, you can make them "stick" less to the monsters and follow you more? It'd be something to experiment with.
I played a lot with the settings and I came to the conclusion that it's best to just use the default AI settings
In some areas, you have nothing but a staircase to travel on. Even though you can't constantly dash on the stairs, the characters do for a very short time. Would dashing save a few frames there?
I dunno, doesn't seem to me as if dashing does anything on the stairs but I'll check
