http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/4001/2199%20-%20Gunstar%20Super%20Heroes%20%28U%29.vbm I cleaned up some dashing, I was doing well until the boss where I go from 92 frames ahead to 49. I need to go watch pirate_sephiroth's WIP now. EDIT:and his is ahead of mine, apparently, good job!

Ha, I'm actually as amazed as you are, because I started that before watching either WIP. Either later tonight or tomorrow I'll have mine done to at least earth.

I am unsure rather to just post here or start a new topic entirely, ah well. I decided to try my hand at a WIP of GSH, some parts are a little sloppy(elevator part doesn't look as entertaining as it should) and it is short, but I wouldn't mind some feedback, please? http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3972/2199%20-%20Gunstar%20Super%20Heroes%20%28U%29.vbm EDIT:Gah, I can't believe I forgot the soft reset at the start, silly me.

After doing a couple stages, I believe more advance stages would be more interesting than all 120 stages.. Let me see what I can do with the last 10 stages, then compare it to 10 levels normally. UPDATE:The last 10 levels seem fun, even though this is in normal time, they require plenty of luck manipulation, I do believe doing the 10 hardest levels would be a better TAS. http://rapidshare.com/files/5106206/Snoopy_-_Magic_Show__U_____.vbm.html There is how I'm doing, this seems more entertaining (Done in real time up to the first stage)

I decided to see if I could TAS this, I got to stage 3 when I decided to look up information about this game, and to my surprise, this game has 120 levels.. Now, what kind of TAS should I do, all 120 stages (Would that even be entertaining?), or use passwords to 111 and just do the 10 hardest (I assume) levels?

Haha, I didn't think you would break the game that bad CAD. I would vote yes if I could, that was entertaining to watch.

CAD is right, I am glad that I was metioned, I'm also glad someone finally made a better TAS. Now it's all fast paced and fun to watch, nice work.

This was my first X game actually, so I've been waiting for a TAS of it. I do have one question though, why'd you change the control scheme? Oh, and like it's SNES counterpart, dashing then jumping is faster than just dashing, CtrlAltDestroy and I figured this out, then again, I never did test this fully. There are a couple parts where you dashed when you could've done the dashjump. Why'd you get the charge shot upgrade? It's been a while since I played so I forget if it allowed you to charge your weapon or not (I also forget if it said that in game, I never really did pay attention to the cutscenes.), I don't know if charged specials allows you to kill the boss faster or not. I'm guessing you just collected the helmet upgrade for the the charge upgrade, since you skipped getting the armor upgrade. I don't know if hadoken is worth it, the hadoken does 1 hit KO the cannons on the 2nd Sigma stage boss, other than that, not a whole lot of useage, probably be better off skipping it due to the amount of frames it takes to get to it. Other than that, better than when I attempted it, but that's because I tried to avoid getting damaged, so good job so far. Sorry for all the questions, when I started typing this all I had to ask was the control scheme question.

I might start this, but I never did get all the swords for the secret ending. Actually, I never got to the ending on a console, just some robot-walker stage boss I vaguely remember. I'll try later, I have summer vacation so I need something to do anyway.

Since I tried this last year, and the HD I had it on is gone, I don't remember much, but I'll offer all I can remember. -On The first autoscroll area(Moon 1 I believe), destroying all the enemies is faster than dodging, also, you need to destroy the copters you speed it up.(force/2nd shot should do this, I was doing red-hard mode) -I think jump -> side air kick -> down air kick -> repeat is that fastest way to go. I used dash, but when I did use it on moon 4's boss, I nearly ran into him once or twice. - Using up+b -> down+b -> repeat is probably the fastest way to kill all the bosses/standing still enemies. Side kicks might work better, I'm not sure. -When fighting Green 1, 2nd shot's special(tapping R) is your friend on a few of his transformations. -On Moon 4, after some flying mini-boss and pre-the elevator to the game board area, you can glitch the game and go down the set of platforms before the elevator without the lasers loading up, due to the game still thinks you're in the area before it. You've got to quickly dash/side kick without the screen locking, so you're trying to start dropping down the platforms as soon as you see them on screen. -Only boss that the uppercut -> downkick combo doesn't work on is Orange, you need to use the 3rd shot type to damage him better. -On stage 1, there's a rolling robot in the area before you go into the area with General Gray, you dont need to kill him. -It is possible to kill the final boss without getting hit, but it'll take too long. -Moon 1's golem mini-boss can be attacked as soon as you see the first block of him on screen, he is REALLY weak to the uppercut -> downkick combo. -Moon 1's boss(Pink) Is also an easy kill with either 2nd shot special/uppercut ->downkick combo, you can get out from under the legs of the robot as soon as the first leg lifts. -If you do switch to Red-Hard, The top down flying area's boss should be an acception to the no damage rule, because no matter what I tried, I could not get out of getting damaged(End of fight hp would be anywhere from 2 to 25) I that's all I can think of right now, this should help some. EDIT:Typo. >_>;

Now if only my HD wasn't wiped I could try some of these, I'm going to re-start the run, hopefully it might not glitch this time.

I doubt anyone even heard of the game..Anyway, About a year back I started a Megaman Xtreme TAS. It came out quite nicely until I was doing the classic refight all the bosses stage. One of the bosses apparently causes the gamera to freeze and never scroll right. I tried reorganizing and seeing if the other boss(Stage has vertical scrolling) would cancel it out, nope. The rom has no intro(As in, no mode 7 monkey thing or anything), the glitch happens in every rom I try(Good thing the game is short). In short, boss causing emulation glitch. Cart never had this problem.

Hmm..there is a badge that lets the spin move (z) go faster from the badge shop in mushroom kingdom after chapter 1 if I remember correctly, that's all I can think of that can be exploited.

Yeah, the double jump glitch is a bit after the girl ninja, I jumped, then it allowed me to a spinning kick in midair. To be more specific, the opening after the building your in front of. Other than that, the glitch won't work as far as I've tested in level 1, I'd like to know what causes it..

Hmm, I have one question Axeman. How'd you skip the breifing screen? (The president has been kidnapped etc... one)? Other than that well done.

I'd like to see a TAS of this game, I used to watch my bro play this all the time (He never beat it though, he did get to toontown). I'm sure you could probably ignore the flashlight, unless it makes the will appear or something. I want to know if there are any major sequence breaks in this game, or any L+R tricks..

I have gone through the game wiht the minimal amount of fights, stardust fields has 102 coins in boxes, I dunno if it s faster than fighting I have let every last goomba kidnap the princess(zzzzz) and that one point in joke's end, I think you can run from it.. By Wendy Koopa, you can barely win (I won by luck) Bowletta can be def. down'd, but Cackletta2 can not. by that point (I only had the basic equipment) I could do 40-50 a turn (at lvl 26 each) with the hammer bros moves I assume if you level up a couple of times, fight the goombas, and get great force, and better equipment, and abuse luck to get max stat gains form the end of each fight,you could beat this game at sub 4-hours (I'd imagine that tapping a every frame could lead to a very damaging Mario hammer bros attack total)

Nice way to start my time here, find a glitch that can lower a run's time extremely (>_>;;) I can't wait to see the glitch used in a run, it'll probably be nuts near the end after someone gets the 60 olives..
