Reminds me of the computer built in Minecraft which could run Minecraft. Just kidding.

Finally I've waited for this day. But the trio is not complete. I hope FFVII will make progress this year (antd, where are you?).

I presume that you are using SNES9X 1.5x? That version is made to more acurate emulate the real console, which means some parts will be slower compared to 1.43. If that's not the text, then I have no idea.
Yes, you're right, I'm using SNES9x 1.51. But which emulator should I use if I want submit anything? Edit: OK, this time I used the same emulator as in the featured run and got a slight difference of one frame. It seems the 1.51 emulators tries to emulate the lag better than the 1.43 one.

I have a question: When I start the game up to the point where the black bar of text starts to vanish, I reach about 1229 frames. But when I played back ISM & Mister's TAS run of this game, they only needed 1223 frames. What did I do wrong?

Just wanted to say that I'd definitely love to see a TAS of this game. Unfortunately I probably don't have enough knowledge to be helpful TASing Terranigma, but I'm following this thread quite some time now and I'm always happy when there is some new progress / discovery / post. I would be very glad if there will be a TAS of this game some day.
I agree. Gonna learn some of the advanced TAS methods and contribute to this games TAS development.

Background issues even occur on epsxe. I think there are different iso versions of GTA 2 on the internet.

I hope they make this emulator gamepad friendly. It's very comfortable to TAS a game with gamepad. Too bad I can't assign a gamepad input as hotkey.

They should hurry developing. PS Tasing is really some years behind the other emulators. I bet PCSX Rerecord emulators are going to catch up.

I have done a (mediocre) pacifista run with the standard force on youtube 2 years ago. The cyclone force would be some variety. I'll welcome it.

I thought it was getting a Gold Chocobo before you get an airship and flying to the continent that you aren't supposed to reach until after you get the airship. So not really a warp glitch, just a sequence break.
Yeah, that's what I meant. Sorry I didn't answer.

How about actually trying to finish EXIIPG on PAL version. I heard it's impossible but not for TASers.
Well, let's say it like this (taking Atomos199's guide as example) If you need 11h 30m for an run on the NTSC Version you will need about 13h 48m on the PAL Version. Atomos199's guide is really good and optimized and aims for 11h 30m and for sure it can be done quicker, especially when TASing the game but I don't think we can finish a perfect game in 10hours (which is 12 hours on the pal version) to get excalibur II (without using cheats). I really like the idea of finishing it on PAL but it seems impossible without finding some good glitches to save a lot of time and not resetting the timer. You can look up the explanation why PAL is slower in Atomos199's guide in section Q03. I posted the link in this thread already.
Well, rlouisw has just beat the game in 10:59:43 (cut scene skipping included). And don't forget the warp glitch. Indeed, skipping Oeil Vert and Desert Palace breaks the rules of the challenge, but I can't think of another possibility

adelikat, I'm currently working on Super Mario World TAS tricks video. It contains many "tricks" like hopping glitch, 6/5 and on. I hope you wouldn't mind, if it could be embedded on the SMW Game resource site someday.
Yes, please do this.
Ok, I'm going to work on this video for awhile. Maybe finished in a month, when I have time.
