Yes, I try to make the titles easy to understand. It is difficult to know what an acronym means without prior knowledge. The term "tool-assisted speed run" is ugly, and sounds like Japanese-English. ;-) Anybody can intuitively guess what a "speed run" is. This is why I include it in the title. The description, channel name, and thumbnail all contain "TAS"; for the 1% that know what it means.

500 GB should be sufficient for all currently published avis. I'm sceptical about all "unlimited bandwidth" offers, though. Once you actually start using that much bandwidth, there's a good chance for your contract to be terminated, or for your bandwidth to be throttled.
I understand your skepticism. However, I've been using their servers for 5 years now and I push 20 TB each and every month (BitTorrent). There has been no throttling in all of those years. They have an extremely large network in Europe. Bandwidth is virtually free for them.

One of these days someone has got to teach me how to use lua in dolphin.. And I love to see progress in this game, good job!
It's quite easy once you set it up. I have done quite a few things in lua with dolphin. Check abahbob's cheatengine tutorial in the dolphin forum here.

Btw, seeing as how tasvideos has no income(?) http://www.ovh.co.uk http://www.ovh.ie http://www.ovh.com/us UK/EU/US ^ Dedicated servers from £3 per month (500 GB HDD, unlimited bandwidth). Could be used for avi, torrent, or movie file storage, etc. I've been a customer with them for many years. They are getting more stock in a few weeks. This company also has a datacenter in North America. They have the biggest datacenter in Europe. I don't know the hosting situation here, but I would be happy to donate one if needed.

Just thought I'd give an update on this project: I'm about half way done with 1-2 now. I've managed to squeeze out more frames than I first thought. So far I'm 31 frames, 0.52 seconds, ahead of the published run on this level. This might not sound like much, but it's a lot more than I previously thought. Is the dolphin with lua build available publicly anywhere? Or any link to Abahbob's build?
What i did is at http://code.google.com/r/rachelbryk-lua-scripting/ Almost everything is broken though.
Thanks for the link! Is it normal to get these errors when building the 32bit version?
