I used your 'ready to use' link on skydrive and I get this upon launch of x86 exe:
"This application or DLL 'SDL.dll' is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."

Awesome! Thanks Randil for making the script. And lil_gecko for the changes.
It worked just the way I wanted on first run.
However, there are a few things I forgot to mention that I would like added, if you get the time:
Walked Steps
I need to know every time I walk. A walk can be seen if the STEPID changes when I'm not pressing X. For every Walked step, I would also like the FieldID, StepID, Danger value, Fraction, offset, etc, to be shown in the text file.
Menu
I need to know every time I enter the menu. This can be identified by the pressing of Triangle. For each time I enter the menu, I would like the FieldID, StepID, Danger, Fraction, etc, (as above) to be shown in the text file.
Btw, would it be that much more difficult to put this information into excel rather than txt file? (if so, txt is fine)
This information is needed in order to optimise for random encounters!
Thanks!

Btw, this problem fixed itself.
Or.... The next video I uploaded didn't get screwed.
Btw, even the 4:3 resize tag didn't work!
Thanks for the scripts, MUGG. But luckily the video that I uploaded wasn't important, so I didn't try.
And my FF7 videos follow the same process:
Dump with camstudio lossless
Upload to YouTube if filesize is acceptable
If big size, compress with x264 placebo preset, crf 0
Always PCM uncompressed audio.

I need to calculate number of steps taken in each field so far in FF7.
Could anyone kindly assist in making a lua script for me to accomplish this?
I'll try to explain:
0009C540 (1 byte) = StepID (This changes on each step)
0007173C (2 bytes) = Danger (This increases on each step)
0009C6D8 (1 byte) = Fraction (This changes on each fraction of a step)
0009AD2C (2 bytes) = Offset
0009A05C (2 bytes) = FieldID (This changes upon exit/entrance to a field)
0009D264 (2 bytes) = Timer (seconds)
I would like the script to show the StepID, Danger, Fraction, Offset, and Timer values each time FieldID changes.
Also, I would like it to show 'Total steps in field' by adding up each time StepID changes for a given FieldID.
And all of this should be dumped into a text file.
I'm not sure where to begin to do this myself. So I hope someone can help!

I use pcsx. But I think psxjin is better. I only use pcsx because I can run my lua scripts very fast with turbo mode.
Try redoing the part that desyncs.

If anyone does do exoddus, I think the sprite corruption glitch is useful in some areas. So you should test it out.
I'll upload my old pxm later (if it still exists).

I won't change any of the wording; just the punctuation, trademark, and capitalisation.

The "forum descriptions" do not use a uniform style and looks untidy and unprofessional. Perhaps they could be cleaned up.
Here are some suggestions of what could be done:
1. Add periods/full stops to all forum descriptions in order to maintain consistency.
2. Uniform capitalisation of words: "Sega Saturn Games" + "Playstation games", the G is capitalised in one but not the other.
3. Use the official trademarked terms of consoles, although this one is not entirely necessary, it sets apart the cheap publications from the real publications:
"Playstation" technically should be "PlayStation".
(the ny-times will almost certainly use the correct usage! You shouldn't read a newspaper that doesn't capitalise the S here ;)!!!)
4. Consistent usage of "and":
"Sega Master System, Game Gear, SG-1000, and ColecoVision games" + "Virtual Boy, Neo Geo Pocket (color), WonderSwan (color) games."
5. Anything else like this.
