After my play through of Oddworld Adventures 1 was submitted I considered making a TAS of this but I didn't know anything about it so I played through it but never bothered with it. It's a much longer game, and VASTLY better imo I'll look forward to any test runs you have though

Which emulator you using? Playing the video through v23.2 it desyncs around 12000 frames or so, which then Stafy then proceeds to just run into walls for no reason, random pausing, random resets that lead nowhere or showing no sign of progress.

What seems to be the furthest progress anyone has made on the game before restarting, seem as though new tidbits are being discovered all the time, and I'm actually quite interested on what a TAS can pull off on this game. Also I find the Avalanche manipulation, if able to harness, will would make some boss fights a breeze to get through.

Recently stumbled across my old TAS file from way back in April 2009, which made me think of this thread, lots of progress made it seems Recorded that ancient unfinished TAS and plopped on youtube Reading up on this thread, what seems to be the progress? Given up a playthrough in favor for a 100% run, looking for better time saving tricks?

Loved the run, glitching through walls was neat and the boss fights were really well done, and I'm always a big fan of 100% runs. Yes vote.

Question, what is the minimum amount of Jigsaw Pieces needed to complete the game? I know there is 60 in total.

Recently stumbled upon this little gem on the Game Boy while working on something and was curious on if a TAS run was being made or not. Nice to see a run is already completed.

IMO, not as enjoyable to watch as the first game but still a good run. I say yes. Watching Crash sliding around everywhere got kind of annoying though.

Don't worry, there are some enemies that don't die from 1 bomb later on. (if I recall, the 3rd mission)

I started working on a SFC TAS A few things to note -to boost/slow down, click on the top/bottom for 1 frame, wait 3 frames, then click on top/bottom again -haven't really tested it out much but for circles I just make pentagons/hexagons to barrel roll -barrel rolling makes your ship a magnet for pick ups if close enough in the vicinity -Peppy Hare once said "Use bombs wisely" Only have the first mission completed, split paths aren't possible on the first play through so 7 missions must be played to reach the credits. dsm video If anyone is interested, we could attempt to have more than one person working on this TAS

Seems pretty good so far. How many levels are there in the game? Do you have to complete all of them to get to the 'credits' screen?

I'd like to see them as well but with it being a point and click adventure type game, once you know the key events you have to activate it would seem linear, unless some bizarro glitch is discovered. I mean the TAS would be to-straight-forward , similar to the Wario Land TAS that got rejected for being to linear.

So what would be the general opinion on the novel games? (Touch Detective, Hotel Dusk, Trace Memory, Phoenix Wright) Would anyone be interested in seeing people go through these particular game as fast as possible?

I find it surprising that neither of the two Advance Wars games have yet to have a completed TAS. Whats the hold up? And yes I'd like to see a tas done on this game.

I've decided to mess around with the ds emulator to add something to my youtube page on Electroplankton. After I'm done recording, I have a MASSIVE .avi file, what I've done in the past for N64/GBA videos is just toss into windows movie maker to reduce the video size and use that to put up on youtube. Though when I did this with Electroplankton, the video became 'stretched out' What programs do you guys use to convert the file to a smaller size without making the image stretched out, I'm a noob at this.

Couple things to say, why name the character 'Maria' instead of the generic and faster 'a'? Future runs on the game could save time just from that. Another thing, is there any options in the menu to turn off animations in battles/shorten the length of the battles? Watching health drain down was rather boring. Other than it looks pretty good thus far.

I wasn't even aware that a sequel for Kururin existed on the gba (I was only aware of the one on the gamecube) Looks well planned, it was well planned out, I think it looks cleaner than the KuruKuru Kururin run by not taking damage, the mini-games were interesting to say the least. I sped through it though, enjoyable to watch, I say publish this along with Kurukuru Kururin.

Very entertaining and it was short so it didn't drag on to long. Yes vote from me.
