I watched Family Feud, it was fun indeed, but as im not an english native speaker, many jokes didnt worked, also its very repetitive gameplay, i got bored by the end, ok tought the end was fun when you realize the black family cant even answer anything (this show does run here in france, so im not saying i didnt understood the concept). Voted MK3... overall i laughted more. I could have voted CT but well, i laughted more at MK3. Now for 2010 guys you gotta be very creative, the recent soccer run... its gonna be hard to beat it.

voting no because of emulation issues is completely insane.
Its leggit and in rules.

SDR is not insane at all, its perfectly understandable (not saying here i agree anyway) I remember theres a psx run that got canceled due to poor emulation (Azure Dream IIRC)

Yeah well i can easly tell it took way more efforts/time to bot up shinning force than dropping all souls.

Shinning Force, its a 2 hours long tas, and played by a lua bot (that does manipulate luck), to me AoS look ridiculous in term of luck manipulation compared to that, as in, not impressive at all.

Yeah except the speed you describe is on very popular torrent like 24 show, or iso ect... not for TAS (not for long at least), they are not that popular torrent at all.

Having our torrents only be of the high quality variety is an exceptionally bad idea. I can accept there being more than one torrent where one conforms to our current guidelines and one is of the high quality sort, but I cannot emphasise enough that only having one is a bad idea.
Imo torrents are useless, it was good back then when everybody had small bandwidth, this situation has clearly changed nowaday. Personally i never downloaded any published tas trought torrent, and im surely not alone in the same case, im sure torrent represent the slowest distribution method around, if we had tracker statistics and just compare between years, its pretty sure the average number of download trough torrent as decreased, at some point only the "vets" encoders/watchers will use it, the archive.org link getting "online" way before the torrent anyway (while movie is in bench....). I say personnally just remove torrents, its redundant and not used, at best.

I would essentially do the above in a first step Then i would try to match the blue model as much as possible from the forum color, and replace some of darker gray on first model by such a blue.

Really, I'd rather see special things be given to them, over someone who wins an award for a TAS. The people I listed really don't get the appreciation they deserve.
I totaly agree with you, but that isnt of my resort nor was the subject i think, if im asked to make crazy trophies or specific funny sprites for such, i will gadly do, anyway

Perhaps just quickly greyscale the images, and slap them in screenshots of the forum in both background colors and see how they look?
Thats the idea, yeah, i can also apply a light blue for replace (some of) the greyscale Im quite busy right now with other stuffs, ill post back a few tests in a day or two, when i can get a try at this Edit: if thats a major problem and you want me to put it high priority i can tought...

From a silly point of view, the only way to make them less "flashy" (if i understood correctly your point) is to go silver/black&white or such. Looking at the forum colors, its white/grey and (light)blue dominant. This is not ideal colors but i guess i could try to get as closer as possible. I dont mind to do 2 sets, one for wiki one for forum, id like to get notified from admin to go on this before trying anything (if say anyway, its too complicated to implement 2 different sets). I understand your concern tought Sticky, i can somewhat agree with it. I think for wiki pages gold will suit better.

Ill vote yes then, the game is cool, i believe you could have done a better job like sgrunt noted, say like for gradius playaround, but i enjoyed your movie (and i know the game a bit).

Even if that would fit me better to say nothing, i truly think richter is more adequate here, he goes at very high speed, some movements used in the tas are sick.

Regards to information provided here (thanks for those quick replyes), i can safely assume this will not be an issue, and that judges can do their jobs by rejecting multiple runs (i mean... dont overflood categories) Ill vote yes based on that ground I still look forward to what happen here for the bios issue, im assuming its a bit slow because the staff have to compose a new rule, and the technical implications are not so easy to determine, i would recommand doing your second run with the standart bios tought (1001).

May I suggest that the award "img" tags had a "title" attribute with the name and year of the award? That way in most browser when you hover the image the browser will show this title.
This is apparently effective, now.

I want to add here that i liked the run, it was boring for a good chunk of it, but latter on in fights it was good and cute. I want to hear input from judges, if for exemple, this could be accepted on the ground that you cant submit each chapters separatly, and that this one would be the shortest/glitchest or whatever it does the best. If it imply having 9 movies, most obviously i would vote no, but i hope the site rules are enought flexible to prevent this outcome.

I have another concern, minor, just for the form. Does accepting this mean theres going to be 9 (or more ?) category, each playing a chapter seperatly, then one with all of them ? Sry if i look jackass, just asking for clarity sake
