I "complain" because i happen to be tasing castlevania and sadly for me it have extra lag in 9.4, so i cant use it (also castlevania is needing sram... thats why im interrested in 9.4) Apparently some others games dont have this problem, even are getting less lag Also moozooh, i dont see how sarcasms on early release help at all, i would call that trolling, sry, i dont want to look offensive, but your not even a taser....

After a few tests on DoS and PoR i can tell 9.4 is more laggy than 9.2, it create lag where there wasnt before, not in "huge" quantity but simply few frames here and there It would be great to have some words from authors (zeromus ?) because it ruin movies making Using 9.4 in its current status to do a castlevania movie is clearly a waste All new features are cool, the emu seem to run great, but this lag problem is just too much an hassle for players and for doing TAS, i realy hope an answer or some infos on this, else i guess whe are compel to use 9.2+ .... and no (castlevania...) movies will be produced under 9.4 I want to add here : all those small problems like frame advance and whatnot, i dont care, im fine with them and i will not whine on that matter, it doesnt impact much on movie making or on movie stability, while the lag ruin everything... Edit: well ill take this oppertunity to request something usefull, if whe could have some kind of "reload movie" feature, it would allow to edit the movie file while its playing (very usefull for testing), for now whe need to stop movie and then go file/play movie dialog box, witch is kinda long and not productive

Ok i totaly forgot it but you can watch the TAS, at the end, the credits say "Dracula X Nocturne In The Moonlight", in english So i guess that one is fine like it is now :p (Unless someone feel like a rip off to substitute Dracula X for Castlevania)

The encode was realy cool to watch, would have been better with the "empty" space between screens but that fine, i did like sprites and musics, the game is a bit slow on some parts, but overall i realy enjoyed, yes vote

Theres lot in there that should not be unpublished, rush'n'attack... actraiser and many others Thats probably a good lead to elaborate a list tought And gratz bringing back the movie search/stats :D

I guess the idea is ok, if you un-grue then it feel logic you can un-publish, imo this should be realy strict tought, it would be so easy to abuse it and remove whatever "bore" you and such... Those one track publication might be good exemple, but i think in the low rated movies theres some stuffs to keep Also, if the goal is not to have a "hall of records" , whats the point in pushing forward new plateforms ... 4 in 4 months i think... this forcably gonna push you to accept "middle" games or "low" if you prefer So you should not in a few years say "geez, whe accepted too many emulator, the result is whe have a bunch of shitty games for xxx plateform, lets remove half of it... its just japanesse games anyway" [/tyranic overexagerated exemple]

if the rerecord count is accurate (it might not be...), its an average of 1 reload every 5 seconds, that sound very bad quality

I had that cartdrige back then, i remember the game been hard but forgot most of it, it was neat to watch, its a little long tought, so it went a bit boring by the end Its impossible (for me...) to tell if you did this the right way, i didnt even remembered the game been so vaste, but ill guess you did your best :p Yes vote anyway

I never saw that game before, it wasnt super entertaining, the music was quite poor, the dash was somewhat feeling a bit long to trigger, but ill give it a yes, graphics are not too bad and it made me think to bionic commando, seem the movie was well made (given that i dont know the game anyway...its just assumptions)

So clearly it WASNT to top up sram corruption over regular runs, but to give a chance to get a better quality full run... I agree with that judgement, if the full run isnt "high" quality, it give a chance now to get a new one I see nowhere the mention "you cant make a full run, you need to corrupt sram or you cant get published" Now again about SM, LoL, obviously the debate will never end so i rather not even talk about it

I dont see what you want to "autogenerate", from what i can see on smb3 history you need to input some stuff to make it readable, else its just a list of movies without real purpose I dont think you can generate such comments, the "history" page itself can maybe tought

Need to mention that in the recent cases where whe had to "choose" for titles the rom are cd, witch mean theres no "official" rom name, unless you have a romset for the whole psx&pcengine library, tought that pretty meaningless, for one i rip my own cd so i cant get the "rom name"

That possible, i saw weird things with richter sprite if you stress input too much (saw them with frame advance i mean) In the other submission i use maybe 2 or 3 times the key from crouch position, the result is pretty ackward but not realy noticable real time, first he arm the whip and then the key appear out of nowhere, obviously it miss a transition from crouch for key

From what i remember on the chrono trigger topic, the run obsoleted was somewhat improvable, iirc adelikat did sayd a "no-sram-corruption-run" will have its own category and that the obsoletion was just to push forward this happening As for super metroid, ill keep it brief too; lol

Im not sure what you are referencing to, but if the outcome would be to publish a 1 min slower maria run over richter, witch use reset, that sure would be a bad call imo, its Tools Assisted Speedrun not playground i think (i dont say this to say maria is not leggit to publish, she good to go too,i just think this deserve it more obviously since its 1 minute faster, aka 3600 frames...) As for the key been annoying, i agree, but, the whip is even more annoying... so you gotta choose between the question mark or the "shhhhh" from the whip, obviously the whip sound ruin more the experience overall considering the quality of audio tracks But since whe are doing speedrun, anyway, your not given the choice... you simply pick up key coz its the damn best weapon and its faster than the rest :D

If you want to be more precise moozooh, only the psx version of nitm have a official english name (sotn), the saturn game has never been release in usa I dont mind if they try to put a little more consistency, the problem i guess is to be persistent and clear enought for people who dont even know akumajo dracula (dracula castle) is equal to castlevania, i think castlevania on google win largely :p For kid dracula, that somewhat not important, i mean, after all its not realy castlevania... But as soon as you put any akumajo dracula instead castlevania, or some romanization for the episode title, it will get more confusing i believe, and scatter runs over the movie list Maybe she should have some sort of castlevania-movies.html, then metroid, mario ect... and regroup games regardless the systems... then allow to put the original games naming... so you would still be able to "easly" find them along other castlevania titles Or simply have 2 field for names, one for the list, and a original title show on the movie page Anyway i guess its a minor problem, for nitm, i just remember i asked adelikat, he asked me the details of the name (saturn & jap only, psx = sotn ect...) and say to go with nitm, so i did that :p The cv64 run in bench use the romanization, im not sure what will be the final name tought As for the psp... lets remind its another system, and near 15 years after this game So yeah its official ... for that game Whe are on pcengine now, wait a few more years and i guess there can be a tas of psp port

You can check as much you want theres not a single akumajo dracula games on the site, except kid dracula.... altought a few of them are japanesse (nitm for exemple...)

I remember i asked about this when i submited NITM (saturn) The point is anyway publication will give the american title (castlevania) and not akumajo dracula Same goes for the game title its Rondo Of Blood and not Chi No Rondo, or Nocturne In The Moonlight and not *insert the right speeling of nitm in japanesse that i dont recall* I would assume a sotn psx run using the jap version would be call also nitm

Movie has been hexed and resubmited, removed all key crush that didnt affect the rng, tought the youtube clip is left unchanged for now

Hum sorry if it wasnt clear in the other submission thread (tought i sayd it a couple of time already)... richter goes faster than maria for any% The movie gonna get submited within next 24 hours or so (im currently in stage7) For 100% its a bit complicated, ill post later the troubles whe have with it, when richter is done
