Great comment! Very interresting, full of whisdom and helpfull too The reason whe need to use virtual drive for this game is because there is 50 audio track and the dump is made with 50 bin.... witch yabause doesnt support Now i think 99% of games dont have 50 audio track... and all other i tryed are not needing a virtual drive... its the first one Also afaik, you dont need virtual drives with SSF... it does read real physical cd drive too (like yabause...) I can search long, but that post from you, and my answer, are realy useless and doesnt help anything on development or on an encoutered problem with yabause Its called whining [/obvious sarcarms and bad whiling to show it doesnt help at all]

No, im not going to run it, i was going to help/confirm it work Now if you want just to drop it then i do as well, i wasnt intended to run this game at all As for your computer not enought good to run it, from what i could heard here and there (trought friends/IRC), if you have a between 2/2.5go cpu its ok, it will play decent, especially a 2D game, but might be a good reason to stop yeah ... dunno... anyway your in frame advance so its 0fps... If you burned cd ect... well i just kinda didnt excepted you drop it like this

I havent yet tryed a U version of Rayman But i have already tryed a J version... and it work good (tested movie recording too) Im still in the process of downloading/trying to find a good U dump, plz hold a bit more, i think this game is good to be TAS'ed, graphics are nice and animation are funny/well made, it would be cool if you can do it You need to have demon tools and load the cue that way, then use the drive letter of virtual drive in yabause

I think so too, good to see your not [already?] hypocrit to this point :D All in all, until your not denying that TASvideos.org was a great thing to do, i think then the reason (faith or whatever) of your departure is not realy important, or to be more precise at your discretion, people should just aknowledge like they do when you was taking decisions upon the site itself If one day you happen to see tasvideos.org as a "devil" creation, that bad and your soul is lost! I have a question to bisqwit Since your kinda "droping" TAS, id like to know your mind about it, even if theres not enought "recoil" for now, was it a good thing to do or a bad thing? Are you proud of this website and/or of what you accomplish/weighted in for TAS community? If it was to do it again (lets imagine marty and the time travel car sudenly appears), youll prevent it happening or let it be?

4$/month hosting and alike are generaly unlimited space/bandwidth, so it should fit right for videos (i picked up hostmonster just for making an exemple, doesnt mean its the "good" one to take)

When i asked to bisqwit on IRC about if the site could work on a non-dedicated server he sayd yes, so apparently its possible Why paying 10$ per month for just some RAM, when for 4$ per month you get a unlimited hosting, bandwidth + disk space... http://www.hostmonster.com/ The best thing of all is you can cut the site into 3/4 parts by reading what bisqwit posted This mean shiny can take maybe the most "light" part, then nach another (without needing to upgrade) and a last one on a non-dedicated hosting That been sayd, now if theres a particular reason to have a dedicated server, that fine, but i guess you can combine with shiny or others for thoses need, and let the rest on non-dedicated Maybe also the charge on a non-dedi could be a problem, that something i cant tell, but well, 10$ a month for just some RAM is realy wasting money i think

Yeah sry genesis Theres is as well a SuperGrafx version too, witch also happen to be superior to genesis one As the library is only 8 games, removing G&G will cut down by 1/8 the system library lol Alltought i dont see how harmfull it is to have 2 (or even 3...) different system with that epic game, sound ok to me Its not like a G&G flood all over tasvideos.org lol, just 3/2300 movies :p Super metroid by itself take more "place" and is just on 1 system

Thanks for the encode I guess theres not much difference with snes, but i give it a yes, it seem to be good tech quality, sprites are nice ect... I think encouraging new tas systems imply forcably to "duplicate" some games, this one deserve it at least, very popular and epic! :D

If it work anyway, its going to be much more funny to watch, i vote medusa shield if possible to pick it up, and that whe have enought str to beat dracula with it :p If fail to beat dracula, whe dont loose time on getting the medusa shield anyway, so it realy doesnt matter after all if whe cant make a epic ending

Ill pass my turn on this question :p Personal note: i think the "whilling" to reproduce the most identical gameplay/replay or whatever from emulator also imply to have both screen, even if its looking less good If it was "arukAdo's" encode, like in one of those links... well i use one screen only, just a blurred mini map, open gl, and different music This is not how the game is in reality, just me arranging as i like, even if of course i prefer my "way", im happy theres a "standart" encode too
