The saturn version is pretty much slower than psx, and have some extra load spots Alltought, if you compare this to (saturn) richter run, i actually beat richter time All in all, maria is probably the fastest character, if she was available on psx (she's on psp...) she would be the fastest run i believe

The only trade off is that going outside trought the glitch is slower than staying inside :D

Why did you visit a saveroom before fighting Medusa? What happened there?
I use the glitch, doesnt save anything (even maybe loose a bit of time), the idea was to use it as much as i could

Could you please explain the different moves? What was the attack you used on Shaft?
From zeeke faq:
1) Triple Jump: Jump, Jump, Jump
Just like the Leap Stone, only better.

2) Leap Stone Stomp: Jump, Jump, Jump, D + Jump
Just like the Leap Stone, only better. Is there an echo in here?

3) Super Jump: D, U + Jump (Can be repeated in mid-air) * LEARN THIS *
A la Richter; Maria causes damage to any enemy she plows through with
   this move. (2 MP)

4) Dash: F, F
   Again, just like Richter.

5) Slide: D + Jump.
   Nothing to say here...

6) Dash Kick: F, F + Kick
Pretty self-explanatory. Press Kick quickly for Maria to flip off
anything she hits, or hold Kick to kick through whatever is in her
   path.

7) Fireball: Fire
Launches a fireball. The fireball can be charged to up to four levels
(kind of like Mega Man) by holding the Fire button down. Can be done
   in mid-air. (2 MP/3 MP/8 MP/18 MP)

8) Guardian Knuckle: D, DF, F + Fire
Maria does a dashing punch with an electric fist. (12 MP)

9) Flameburst: U, D, DF, F + Fire
Maria unleashes a powerful flameburst. (30 MP)

10) Turtle Healing: D, DB, B, UB, U, UF, F, DF, D + Fire
Maria will recover some life. (23 MP)

11) Owl Summon: Charge U, UF, F, DF, D + Fire
Maria will summon an Owl companion, which acts sort of like Alucard's
   Bat familiar. (18 MP)

12) Dragon Summon: F, B, DB, D, DF, F, B + Fire
Summons a Dragon (looks like it came right out of Salamander :) that
you will be in direct control of until the spell expires. (35 MP)

13) Invincibility: U, UF, F, DF, D, DB, B, UB, Charge U, D + Fire
Maria will be fully invincible for about 40 seconds or so. In addition,
some of her physical attacks will increase in power and become Holy
    elemental. (43 MP)
I used invincibility against shaft, also mp values are wrong in this

Overall, it seemed reasonably well-made, though I have this vague feeling that the movement could be significantly more optimized. Nothing specific; the movie just didn't feel "tight" to me. However, I enjoyed watching it, so you get a weak yes.
I prefer weak yes than a no, thanks ! :D Its improvable yeah, like i explained on submission, im working toward it :p

Lets inogurate this board with castlevania :p Well, the run is in the workbench, but today somebody (sorry i dont remember who!) pointed out in IRC that i should use the save point in inverted castle to refill MP and blast out medusa, i think its a good idea Anyway, ill post here improvements and ideas as i progress trought making maria run a bit more "perfect" :D

You equip the axe soul so its not realy a problem i think I think the problem is the lag generated by combating ennemy (and droping souls too)

In both case (PoR or DoS) i would prefer to have a less laggy 3D engine first If it wasnt for DoS lags i would have done it already :p In DoS theres is the sucubus glitch that will let you do some boss skip and get equipment, but its a bit late in the game sadly (unlike in PoR where its from start possible)

< is a noob at PoR LoL, plz remember this :p I have serious trouble to answer this as i dont even remember wheres sanctury spell But what would be the use? using warps(sg) to cure sisters? its better to aim directly at dracula if you use warps, i guess

Thanks again for all positive feeback, to all helpers, truncated for accepting and adelikat for publishing I think most enjoyed this run as i did to make it, this is probably not the end tought, castlevania is generaly highly competited game and theres some space for improvements over this run, with some solid manipulation on luck, and hopefully a less laggy 3D engine I except also to see a "full" run (warpless) from klmz, soon or later :D I will try to fix the submission text when i got some time

Honnestly half of jumps hes doing are impossible to do real time Youll still lack "events" in the complete run, as you can skip any cutscene as far as i remember For a henry run i dont see how it could have been better

I never claimed it was faster, for sure, i realy doubt about this been faster I was thinking, *maybe* this can be faster And yeah i confirm, you would use the potion after dialogue with dracula, not vs guardian (require 2 menu access...) Now yeah for entertainement, its more fun i think, if its slower i think whe should not use it tought Edit: ah, btw, i told you its possible to survive! lol :p

Oki... sure... this is even the best Neo-Geo game if you want... Now i hope somebody will take a shitty game like metal slug, magician lord or nam75, coz this super good game is realy boring to watch *Reopen youtube just to hear that "so" good music that beat all other shity games* Edit: oups, i watched this without sound apparently... BIG mistake If i could change vote i would put yes!

I watched this late at night, i almost went asleep in front youtube... Its very boring, and i dont want to talk about the "quality" of your TAS, its probably good, alltought you picked up the wrong car (witch is a big error), i think you cant be much critized on optimizations But, man, what the hell is that game? Its probably one of the worst Neo-Geo game ever.... Its not needed, everybody know them, but you had SO many choices... why on hell would you picked up that shitty one... so heres a rought list of what you could have choose: -1player Magician Lord, Art Of Fighting, Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown, KOF, Last Resort, Super Spy, Super Sidekick, Viewpoint -2players Nam75, Burning Fight, Cyber-Lip, Metal Slug, Ninja Combat Ect...ect...ect... No it was needed to be OverTop...Meh

I was thinking the fairy will heal you rather than revive you, using a potion On my test it worked, i guess because i had a higher DEF (more hits > fairy heal you), did you tryed with shield potion (+10DEF) ?

Hum, dont take my advice too seriously since im not realy good knowledge on dos, but, if you go for sucubus glitch later on, your exp matter only for boss before the glitch, after the glitch you should have enought equipment to brake trought anything regardless your level
