The downloadable encodes usually don't require an update alongside the YouTube encode, as the encode quality generally is decent enough, and actually kinda illustrate the history of how downloadables were handled in the past IMO.
I still wish some of them can get update for more decent quality. Let's take two recent Youtube uploads as examples: 1) Genesis Ex-Mutants by maTO in 10:11.23 https://tasvideos.org/1515M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvF0moPvsss http://archive.org/download/Ex-mutantsTasIn1011.23ByMato/ (downloadable encodes date: 2010) 2) Arcade The Simpsons "4 players" by adelikat & DarkKobold in 13:37.73 https://tasvideos.org/1613M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvNdb9tRR38 http://archive.org/download/ArcadeTheSimpsonsTheArcadeGame4-playerIn1337.73_956/ (downloadable encodes date: 2010) I found that when downloadable encodes date is older then 2012, the quality is just not decent enough compare with those newer then 2012. So please consider to update downloadable encodes when they are older then 2012, thanks.

I watched the .mkv of Spin Master and it looked fine to me. Could you please share your PC specifications? Download and launch CPU-Z, then click on Tools > Save Report as .TXT Oh and please don't paste the report here on the forum, use an external site for sharing it, for example https://pastebin.com
What video player and decoder do you use? My player is MPC-HC and decoder is LAV and madVR. I'd like to try your video player and decoder.

Can you describe what the glitch is?
It look like encode error, wrong colors and wired blocks everywhere. These low quality mp4 version work fine: http://archive.org/download/spinmaster-tas-x2poet/spinmaster-tas-x2poet_512kb.mp4 http://archive.org/download/megamanandbass-tas-100cds-vsmk3/megamanandbass-tas-100cds-vsmk3_512kb.mp4 But I really want to have working high quality mkv for those movies.

- here is an good exsample from GBA Metroid Zero, which the soure video is only 240x160, same as game. Before you follow this guide, all your gameplay videos just look like GBA_Metroid_Zero_240x160_blur.jpg: After you set up like me, your gameplay videos will look like GBA_Metroid_Zero_240x160_classic.jpg: which one do you like? -
