The latest MAME can also run it. 
mame genesis -cart filename.md
Also, Genesis-Plus-GX can run the other Mega Drive Mini exclusive ROMs in the No-Intro database.

Hello. Please try opening Devi to Pii (Japan) (Mega Drive Mini 2).md (ED17976C) with the latest BizHawk dev build for Windows and clean settings. It gives me a blank screen. The ROM loads correctly if I change the core to PicoDrive. BizHawk 2.9.2 384b08a7b Windows 10

I thought that a specific ROM was broken in the dev build, but the issue was that my Display Method was set to GDI+. The latest stable Bizhawk loads PCE games with this combination of settings, but the latest dev build doesn't: Core: TurboNyma or HyperNyma Display Method: GDI+ Windows 10 If you can reproduce this, please make the emulator show a warning when a ROM is opened with these settings.

Hello. BizHawk creates screenshots with the names from its internal database, which are different from the No-Intro names. Is there a way to make it use the ROM filenames for screenshots? If not, please consider adding it as an option.

Hello. Is it possible to launch the emulator automatically with a specific built-in core from the command line? My goal is to launch different games with different cores (e.g. PCEHawk or TurboNyma) from the QuickPlay frontend. The only solution I've found was creating separate config.ini files, but I don't need to change any other setting. I'd prefer to overwrite just the core with a command.
