I think that’s just a misinterpretation of the messages already sent here, since it has already been mentioned by Karaage himself in this forum that he didn’t submit it.

I’ve given this TAS a look (or finished actually. Got ten minutes in before). As someone with no prior experience with the game or it’s original counterpart, I was relatively interested. Seeing the characters go down in almost single punches was somewhat entertaining. That’s the key, however. Somewhat. At no point was I COMPLETELY entertained. Just sort of. For that reason, I’ll be voting meh.

What's with this hostile attitude? What did I do? I don't understand.
I wouldn’t call it a hostile attitude. Rather, it’s simply educating you on how this is nothing close to character assassination, especially with the example from Samsara. CasualPokePlayer is also not wrong. A reply is very unlikely, both here and on IRC lol

Having already watched this encode via a post in the Discord, I was extremely excited for this submission. The Neutral Z-Press TAS felt, as a submission, honestly rather confusing (followed the typical Genocide route to a point then deviated), however this is much better in my opinion. I was entertained before, and now with the added differences in execution and optimisation I observed, this TAS was even better to me. I found in particular the differences in execution near the end of the route particularly interesting. This gets a yes vote from me. Well done! :)

Gotta agree with EZGames69 here. While it was fun to observe the slight changes made to lower the Z press count, which I enjoyed, it really doesn't differentiate substantially ENOUGH to me from a typical Genocide TAS to qualify as a new branch. I'm voting meh here.

not all puzzles are actually interesting to see solved fast. I can't say the movie was entertaining to me.
Fair enough. Like I said, I always believe the reception of a movie is down to the audience's taste, and this post is an example of such, but...

The puzzles go by too quick to really see them
I'm kinda confused about this. The movie's goal is fastest completion, so wouldn't going fast through the puzzles essentially be a requirement? I can understand them "not being interesting fast" as your opinion, but it feels like "going by too quick" is kind of a questionable statement for a movie that aims for a fastest completion. I don't mean any offence, I'm just kinda confused by that part of this post.

I can't say I'm too well versed with Layton speedrunning, so I may be missing a subtlety. Whilst it seems like this movie displays good optimisation (which you should be proud of), I feel like it isn't hugely entertaining after the first few puzzles. I feel like this is a good candidate for standard
That’s cool, I always knew that a movie’s reception is gonna be based on people’s personal taste. And I’m glad you thought it was optimised. :) There aren’t really any subtleties, but I guess the main selling point for this TAS is how effortlessly the puzzles are solved, with me intending for them to be fast or look ridiculous when being solved. I guess if you’re not into that, it could admittedly make the movie less entertaining.

Hey, I was just wondering whether the Professor Layton series (or specifically in my case, the fourth game Last Specter) would be eligible to be submitted to the site?
While we're waiting for someone who knows the game, why wouldn't it be acceptable?
Well, I was asking cos for the past couple of days I've been working on this: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/74341255269432343 (very much still a WIP, got 8 more chapters to go), and I'd be interested to know whether an assessment as to this movies eligibility could be made based on what I have?
An update to this movie: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/74475773714033145 Adds a lot more content, providing a wider scope of what the TAS does.

My one question is how different this TAS is from True Pacifist.
True Pacifist is different from Neutral in that you cannot kill enemies (except, if I’m not mistaken, one or two), as for the most part True Pacifist is Neutral with an extra fight achieved by certain encounters with characters (ie. the Undyne date), which can only be achieved by not killing any monsters, or else Undyne will react differently to your arrival in Waterfall and the date will be non-activatable, rendering True Pacifist impossible. Neutral, on the other hand, is the default ending for a run that fits no special requirements for TP or Genocide, hence why this run falls under the criteria: it kills enemies in order (I’m assuming, I don’t know this game from a TAS perspective. OceanBagel or another more expert person can probably correct me here.) to save time.

So nice to see this TAS finally submitted! I was so impressed when I saw it back when it first released over on YouTube, and I’m still impressed watching it now! Well done :D

I’ve been watching this TAS be made for a long while now. It utilises all of the new discoveries we’ve made since the publishing of the last TAS back in 2015, and improves other slight aspects further to save as much time as possible. Overall, it’s a solid movie, and I’m glad to see it finally completed and submitted!
