Hey there I think its a bit off topic, but i've always wanted to create my own Super Mario Bros. 3 game, playable on a NES emulator. I know that I can modify SMB3 ROM with programs like SMB3ed or m3ed, but im a bit confused on how they work (most of them have been created 10, even 15 yrs ago) So if someone knows how they work or has a tutorial, or (would be better) if someone already created a SMB3 hack, it would be great!! :D thanks!

Warps. I've already started the run, but I quickly dropped xD (already we can't take the flute who's in the castle of world 1, because we must steal, so we have to go to world 2, to take the flute kept by fire bro, and after, go to the world 3 to take the cloud, because we can't do the castle of world 8 as small mario, so we must pass with the cloud)

Hello. I thought it would be interesting to do a "small only" run of Super Mario Bros. 3. What do you think?

To YoungJ1997lol : No, this is a speedrun, made under normal conditions of play. I know extremely well the game and it has been 10 years since I play it...

Yes but the SNES forum is about TAS, and my video is a speedrun, so I think it's better to post in the forum of speedruns ^^

It's okay, I downloaded 1.53 version of snes9x. By cons I've another problem, when I run the application, I've this message: "This application has failed to start because d3dx9_38.dll is untraceable". Yet I have downloaded this file, so I dont understand :(

It's the 1.51 version. And for movie, I went to "file" then "movie record". If you want I can send you the movie file (and [Removed by MOD]) by mail

Im aware that my speedrun is not perfect, but already successfully finish the game in 11 minutes is a feat I think

Hi. I recorded a movie with the emulator, but when I tried to read it, the emulator misread the keys that I have made. So I have a run completely messed up. And it does this at every movie I recorded :( adelikat EDIT: Added Emulator and version to thread title
