unfornately, since it's not one action rpg, it probably will not "shiny" on a tas, unles some really cool+hard to do bug/glitch/exploit arise (if exist). or... if you use your imagination to surpreend and stuf, hahaha. but just quit the project if you dosen't see a good reason to do it anymore (unles of course if you said that you will do it, so, to not lie, you will have to do it)

don't say you will not watch, because maybe on the process some cool bugs and stuff would be discovered that would make it cool to watch. but on the other way, if the result don't appear that will be to much different from the one on the SPA... then it would be better not do this tas.

nahh, even if this guy did 100% in one go, a tas video would still be cool to watch, as long as it has, perhaps, a good number of bugs/exploits. and is better not be 100%, just the more fast possible. and isone of the best games of play1, I did almost everything that can be done on this game. I even decide to kill the freya before the last fase (you know, revenge for her killing the group of herous so easily if you run out of time). I played on hard and evolved the best possible before the last moment that you can fight her (before enter the last chapter). then I fabricated the best equipament that could be made on that time on the game and get 99 healing itens before the fight. I don't know if there was a better way to defeat her, but my way result in a fight that lasted, by what I remember, some 3+ hours. then I ran out of my 99 ressurect itens but still was able to defeat her... to be rewarded with... the same death scene (she reporting to odin that she have killed my group, hahaha)

Ok, I din't find any tutorial on how utilize to make a tas with this pcsxrr emulator. I din't find here on this forum, on the page of downloads, on the emulator site, on google... so where I can find a tutorial on how to utilize this emulator? tought that maybe I could deduce/discover how to utilize him, but when the game begins to run the emulator buttons just disappear.

sorry for take so long to aswer: no, remember that I said that I am (well, was in the past) a expert on the street ex. I just din't remember if there is a way to do a random select on arcade. if I press start the game get out of the select screen, besides that I tried pres select and select+up/down and nothing happens. L1, L2,R1 and R2 all just choose the character. Now I will have to make some tests to find who would be the most fast or fun to make the tas

Ok, I got the emulator and the game, follow the procedures and all sems to be working. but now 2 problems: 1 - there isn't a random selelct icon on the arcade select screen, and I don't remember i there is a way to acess a random s. there (on arcade), and I din't find anything on internet. so... anyone remember if there is a way to activate the random select on arcade? if not I will have to do with some other char (dam, I was really wanting to see the evil garuda destroing the enemies and stuff) 2 - How I mess with this thing? I din't find any tutorial (will keep looking after write this), so can anyone tellme just how to begin (since after the game begins to run there is no option to mess with, all butons disappear)

finally, I am finishing my project (will release saturday I think), so, next week or so, I will begin to see about do the tas. unles until there someone decide to do it. pirate, are you thinking about do it? well, next week I will begin. (depends of the velocity of download of the iso)

well, I did some reasearch and din't find anything that would be helpfull, like a glich or super damage combo, etc. and cool, so I could do this one kind of fast (of course if I choose to sacrifice some speed for entertainment)? the best char is without doubt evil garuda, he destroy the life of the oponents without par on the game. and will be "fastest speed" together with "sacrifice some speed for entertainment". so I will analize the fastest way and utilize on, let's say, maybe the second round of every fight? (just one idea) so, after I finish my current project I think I will try to do this tas. I presume it will take a month or 1.5 month until I finish my project, so if someone until there want to make this tas, no problem, just say here. and just to check: what I will need is just the special emulator and the image or the cd of the game, correct? just this 2 things?

I will do a good research tomorrow (well, or today) to see if I find some glitchs that would be interesting and if there is some infinity combo with someone in the EX1. then I will post here what I find. and yeah, for the moment I will not think about EX2. and one doubt: to those who have good experience with tas runs, how much time is expected to complete a tas of a fighting game? I mean, considering that it is a dedicate taser and no problems arise during the make of the run, more or less how much time? 1 or 2 months? just to I have some idea.

EX 2 is other thing, since, by what I remember, I can't take evil garuda on the random select from the start (that means long fights with some other char) (on the other hand more intersting since i will be chanching the fighter I am with every fight). and EX 2 would require lots of tests because of the variation of combos from all the fighters (that's why I will do the EX 1 and later decide if I will do the EX 2)

I am almost am expert on the "street ex", and of course I really like them, so I am thinking about do a tas. I will see if I will do this after the project I am finishing right now, so if someone would want to do this tas before I begin just let me know here. what I presume is the fastest way to finish the street ex 1 would be: 1 - begin and go to the options and put maximum dificulty 2 - new game and go to the random select and (how lucky) take evil garuda (for those who don't know he is the master of akuma) 3 - kill everyone really fast and the end. the doubts: If I go for the fastest time that would mean pratically the same combo on all the enemies (boring to watch unles it is really fast), so maybe would be better sacrife some speed for variation, show of some dodges and to fight evil garuda and evil akuma.

By what I know (it's what I did in the past), the fastest way would be: 1 - begin the game (hahaha) 2 - go get the free war tank (in the first city I remember he is more or less on the right diagonal inferior part of the map) 3 - keep destroying cars and the police, killing everyone you see until you get the necessary money to go to the next city. (it will take some 4 or 5 minutes by what i remember) 4 - in the second and third city do the same. 5 - done. (yeah, unfornatelly the necessary to beat this game is only money, not missions acomplished) or... you decide to finish the game without the tank
