God this game brings back memories. I haven't played it in years though. I'll bust it out later tonight and see if I can't get back into it.

I haven't been on this site at all for about 2 years now. Odd that I would find this topic that I made 3 years ago first in the PSX games forum. The run looks really great so far! A 100% run was what I was hoping for in the first place and this run does not disappoint at all.

Ah yes, Red Gem Early. That would have helped me so much in my youth. Anyway I'm really looking forward to seeing a run of Crash Bandicoot 2, or any of the CBs for that matter. Hope you're doing it darth33bagger! AND IT'S CORTEX STRIKES BACK NOT WRATH OF CORTEX :(
Oh man, I don't know what I was thinking when I made the thread title. I should know that! As for me doing a run, I could look at it, but I don't know the game inside and out enough to do it really. I have never even gotten 100% of the things in the game, let alone know how to get red gem early and such.

I would love to see a run of this game, this was one of the best PSX games in my opinion.

Well at this point I don't think anyone is even working on it. I know that I haven't even looked into doing a TAS since November 2008 when I went to go do a Paper mario TAS, but the game screws up once you get into the woods leading to the third star.

Windows XP is what I use on all my computers. I have had Zero problems with it and love it. Vista is another story. That is so bad it makes OSX look good. Windows 7 is showing promise though.

Zelda TP won't have any sound because it has to be LLE'd, and that's not possible right now because you have to dump some files from a real gamecube for it to work.

Or perhaps Xbox?
Not looking too promising because the xbox emulation scene is almost non existent.

Metal arms: Glitch in the system is a fun third person shooter for the gamecube. I'd love to see a run of that as well.

Animal crossing is one of my favorite games as well but I don't think it would be much of a tas lol...
it's a real-time game, it has no end, and to do everything you still have to have friends, which don't exist in a TAS, so you probably shouldn't have even brought it up.
I was thinking as buying everything, finding everything and upgrading everything. I know it has no end.
Did you listen to me? You need more than one person to get everything.
You could always just make a TAS of getting everything with one person. You don't have to get all the fruit trees, etc. Just get everything that you can with one person.

I don't know much about that place but I can tell you one thing. If someone has killed someone or a crime that is comparable to that the person should be locked up forever without a chance to get out. They killed someone so they don't deserve another chance. That's just how I feel about things like these.

My computer wont run the opengl plugin, which would allow me to play my games with a decent FPS. With the directx plugin I can only get 5 fps in melee, which is not playable. Opengl decides it wont work. I have checked and my system has OpenGL 2.0 on it. My graphics card is a Nvidia Geforce FX 5500. This is the best I can get it too look in openGL. When I have XFB off it only has one small grey block in the bottom right corner. With XFB on it looks like this:http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z272/dartht33bagger/Dolphin.jpg

Its a problem with the directx plugin. It is slower and worse looking than opengl. Use opengl.

It may not do much, but someone looking to buy a new computer may want to look at this to see what runs good with dolphin.
