EYYY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JC5xOnyYuoI I saved a single frame in this new WIP, yay. EDIT: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/31908562941914454 This saves 1 frame over the WIP posted above, I guess I can move on now. :P

Sorry, I didn't know the game was Strategy. Speaking of which, the run isn't linked to aleckermit, can somebody please fix that?

I noticed that the genre of the publication says Strategy instead of RPG, and the "heavy luck manipulation" tag is missing. Can somebody please change that? Thanks.

So, if I make a TAS of an Atari game right now, would it be inmedeately rejected because the current official version of the emu isn't really that accurate? What I'm supposed to do then? Of course I can only wait, but who knows when the next release is coming out...

I'll leave that opinion up to someone who didn't make the TAS, but I thought I'd point out some levels that differ the most.
Damn son.

2/ Mothrayas, your reply is similar to this: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110108101036AA9zRws But you're more concerned about the civility than the grammar.
Sweet Jesus...

This is faster than keep moving forward. I need to refill my power bar a little to make a jump without getting tired and doing consecutive frame perfect jumps that delay my movement before that. (see original WIPs from long ago). BTW, any screenshot suggestions? I dunno which one to choose, so what are you guys' favorite moments from the run?

I still prefer NightFire more than this one, but I was very entertained anyway. Yes vote.

Since nobody really seemed to watch the movie file, I guess I'll do one of my patented crappy encodes: Link to video Ridiculously more polished and optimized than I ever thought it could be 2 years ago.

Umm... Hey guys, I just noticed that the publication isn't linked to me or Spike, the version of the game says unknown, and the "Aims for maximum score" category is missing. Can somebody please fix this? Thanks!

That's because this isn't the optimal solution; iirc real time runs abuse a glitch that allows pretty much all battles to instant end. Early pokemon games are weird like that.
But what about games like Zelda 2, Kirby's Adventure or SoTN? Those games have that category going on. The "no memory corruption" branch looks weird in comparison to those other games.

Can I make a suggestion? I think this publication should be branchless and the ACE run should be called "game end glitch". I mean every other game with ACE does that, so why not this game?

Shouldn't this TAS be branchless?

Ah, yes... that's what I thought. You're doing the same thing since the desync issues haven't been solved for this game, right?

Maybe because the TAS is splitted? I mean the same thing happened with OoT 100% and Wind Waker any%.

It must have been very tiring to improve such an already tight run, but it payed off! It was very entertaining for me, so I vote yes.

I found some useless graphical glitches: They're done in Level 6-3, and it uses a glitch that lets you swim in the air, beneath a slope. It's kinda precise, but it's easy once you get the precise position in the slope. I think this is useless, but it looks cool nonetheless. (also i dunno where else to post this...)
