Have you tried testing the original japanese version on Hourglass to see if it works?
I'm skeptical regarding few things. Does the desk glitch works on the japanese version? If not, why? Or, if it does exist there, why bother using the english version, or does the TAS sync there?
BTW, although I enjoyed the TAS, I think you should really upload the .wtf file in the userfiles, just in case it gets lost somehow and also as a guide if something else comes up.
Found another crash:

This only works with the Snake Token gadget, which is obtained after you collected all Snake Tokens in all PSA Missions of the game, so dirty SRAM/NG+ is required.
Also note that this crash can also happen on real DS hardware, so it's not an emulation bug or anything.
This is practically useless, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Yes, I quite know this, and I'm very aware about Sonic and Cream's battles having more enemies, but please consider the following: Cream and Sonic's movesets aren't the fastest.
Shadow was the fastest character because of his excellent moveset, that KOs people fast and deal really big damage.
I'm going to acknowledge what's wrong with both characters you mentioned.
Sonic, despite being a well-rounded character, he's not very manageable in the air. His special moves don't deal as enough damage, they have a long delay after performed and they can move enemies around, which I do not want in order to kill them consistently.
Cream, despite her special moves being quite decent, her moves do have 1 big issue.
Every time you perform one, enemies get knocked back, and on their recovery animations, they're invincible for few frames, making the killing process slower. Not to mention how bad Cream moves on the ground and her not running fast at all, it makes both characters slower despite having more enemies on the battlefield.
I hope this clears up some of your questions, and my apologies for not clearing up the SRAM issue. :)
Over a minute. And the death glitch cuts Emerl runs even more. Since SRAM is not normally allowed, and a verification movie of the game unlocking all necessary skillsets would be extremely difficult, I decided to not start from dirty SRAM.
That was a really weird game...
Anyway, nicely done TAS. The fights agaisnt bosses are a little repetitive, but the rest is nice enough for giving it a yes vote.
lel nvm what i said.
What I was going to do was a new Challenge Mode run with Knuckles, but it didn't worked out.
It was supposed to use a new death glitch that I found which involves Emerl's story and dirty SRAM, which happens when you die in the Virtual Chamber room in story mode, quit story mode and re-enter Challenge Mode as Knuckles.
What happens is that in Challenge Mode, when you kill 1 enemy, and you die right after, you'll beat the stage, which isn't supposed to happen, meaning you can destroy all of the known records of the game, including Kumquat's testrun with Emerl!
Here's a video of the glitch in action (sorry it took so long to post this, my b):

Unfortunately, it doesn't work on a clean save, so using Knuckles is out of the way.
I guess I'll submit the Shadow run, if people desire. Sorry for the inconvenience... :P
So, um... Few hours ago I found something. It's gonna lose all entertainment value of all previous TASes, but you'll gonna be amazed of how ridiculous these new strats are.
New submission coming on weekend, get hyped! =D
fastest fight so far:

This is possibly the only instance in the entire TAS which I take damage, just to keep my KOing pace as consistent as I can.
Thankfully, despite Chaos being the most defensive character in the game, I still manage to kill him as consistently as Amy and Cream.
The last KO was very useful since I blocked Amy's special move so I can 1HKO Chaos in the end really fast.
Well, there's just 1 more fight to go! Wish me luck!

Well, this one requires some explaining:
This ended up slower than I anticipated, but it all comes down to the stage's initial spawning positions and the characters.
Regarding the stage: It was a bunch of walls, which slows the CPU characters down significantly. The initial spawning point for all players doesn't help either.
Regarding Gamma: He's very slow. He also likes to take his sweet time to make a move, slowing me down, again. One thing that helps me quite a lot is that he explodes everytime he dies, and since I can block that, I'm able to fill my super meter really quickly.
When the Super Meter charges completely, one of the special moves I perform will 1HKO anyone, as long as they don't have defense against a specific move, so with a lot of AI manipulation, I manage to make my moves consistently as all of the current circumstances let me to.
Regarding Rouge: She's a troll. Everytime a character spawns, they always spawn in midair. Everytime Rouge spawns however, she keeps flying in midair and it takes a long time for her to fully land on the ground. Also when she gets hit if her Y position is even remotely not on the ground, she'll keep descending very slowly, making my special move KOs very, VERY tricky.
Not to mention the spawning patterns and the special move blocking, which made the fight even more difficult to TAS, just like the first fight with Tails and Knuckles.
But now that this fight's done, it's time for the fourth fight featuring... Chaos! yay...
Now that's more like it!:

My initial time was 48 secs, 2 days ago it was 46, now it's 44.
Thanks to lots and lots of new strategies between special moves and heavy attacks, and a bunch of AI manipulation, I managed to save around 4 seconds since my first WIP... now that's some considerable improvement.
Sonic's next, and I hope he's ready for my edginess. :P
