Note to self: doing a heavy atack + air kick against the wall is faster than 2 extra special attacks. Just so I do not forget this, and also with this in mind I'll redo the fight... again.

Too much repetitive. It's a fighting game, you need to vary a little bit... Unless you're really aiming for the fastest time. But a good job anyway.
Well, thanks. I'm aiming for speed but also I'm willing to vary a bit for entertainment, depite my limitations with the game, game's a bit sluggish, to be honest. Anyway, I'm making the final TAS right now. Currently with 2 KOs on the first stage. It is a bit slower, because I actually kill my foes at the same time (almost). I need to do this in order to maintain that pace of killing them at the same time, and also I manipulate them to make them spawn where I want and so I can get my next 2 KOs faster than the rough TAS. That part where I said almost is because Knuckles has this weird hit detection thing where the game takes like 2 frames to detect Knux getting hit by special moves. Just clearing few things up so I don't need to post it later and I forget. :P

A RTA run of this game has been made: https://youtu.be/z58gcB2tw7Y It beats the game in an hour, which is something I didn't expected at all. To be honest, it indeed looks very rough, but it's nice to see people actually running these games. EDIT: New WR... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_UBGa_0RzY

I'm pretty late for this, but I vote yes. Despite being a bit repetitive, it's still enjoyable to see 1 hit KOs almost the entire time. I'm glad you 2 finished this, and thanks for making it!

Got it. My apologies for making worthless pages. Umm... which of the 7 games should I do first?

There's 7 Game Resource pages that are empty, and I've made most of them... Time to fix that. I'll try my best to add useful information to these pages, and learn about said games along the way, I'll post my progress here, so I don't have to rely on said pages or the IRC. Not only this, but this is also a good chance to update the pages that haven't been updated for years, such as Ocarina of Time, Mario 64, among others so the Game Resources section of the site really gets the cleanup it needs. It will be a difficult task since I have TAS projects, I have a schedule for making YT videos and also my limited time using the PC, but I hope it will be worth it. Also hoping to make Nach proud by doing this.

http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/29177131943645213 Not final, this is just a showcase of what is possible in a TAS. Of course, the final TAS will be more polished than this. I aim for both speed and entertainment, so I ended up using Shadow in the end. Encode for those curious people: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oFDeShugaY Feedback much appreciated.

On my server there was just me and FerretWarlord. I was a bit shocked seeing all of those splits all at once... Has there been any warning about these recently? Since net splits have been happening frequently as of late...

Truly excited for the final draft. The TAS looks polished already, so imagine even more optimization into this game at the end!

I'm currently working on a Challenge Mode TAS of this game. Since the movie starts from a clean save, I can't use Emerl. Now I don't know which character to choose both for speed and entertainment... I was thinking of using Shadow... any better ideas?

This is the shortest version of the game, so completing all 6 episodes may take less than 2 hours I believe. But the thing is that I dunno if this game somehow gets published, the encodes may be taken down because of the soundtrack being actual Star Wars music. But it would make an interesting TAS, in my opinion.

There's an app out there that can play .swf files without a browser, and it isn't Gnash. It's simply called SWF Loader, and it has very decent compatibility with a bunch of Flash games, even more recent ones. Maybe it has potential for implementing TASing tools? Link to the program: http://rcpsoft.net/swfloader.html I actually contacted the creator of the loader by asking if he could make it open-source, but unfortunately, he lost the source code some time ago, which is a bit of a shame. Even then, I thanked him and then asked him how did he managed to make the program, he replied with:
We are talking about a project of 2011, but if I remember correctly is based on DLL in folder.
I don't know what this means, but it's cool nonetheless!

Is there any encode of this? Also, are you using BizHawk to make the TAS?

http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/28356656915552848 Resynced up to W2 bonus level. Applied TASeditor's improvements to the 1st boss and stage 2-1, also managed to save very few frames from his improvement as well, specifically in stage 2-1. :)

There's also this game called Pocket Mortys, which is a Pokémon clone, but instead of catching pokemon instead you collect Mortys from different universes.

I agree with adelikat and SMB3. Basically this can be mistaken with a romhack, and the final message from the princess doesn't help either. On the other hand, despite SMW being more accesible... THERES 2 OTHER STARRED RUNS OF THE GAME. Personally, having 3 starred SMW TASes is a bit too much and it's very unlikely we're going to remove a star from the warps and 120 exits runs due to how excellent they are. As for Pokemon, I don't know. It's the first run to do something like this but it's not as impressive as back then, even more with the new discoveries with the Gen 1 games. In my personal opinion, none of the ACE runs should have a newcomers icon, it's simply not a good idea, at least for me.
