Isn't the game name should only be called Mario Party instead of Mario Party 1? Anyways, I'm gonna watch the encode later and then I'll put my vote. EDIT: For people who don't have Nico accounts... or simply convenience (WARNING, TOO MUCH VIDS): Part1: Link to video Part2: Link to video Part3: Link to video Part4: Link to video

Yeah Jam Fury could do for some amazing speed and puzzle solving. (Requires mouse.) There's also a Club Penguin beta game called YumYum YuckYuck, it has no sound although it can get pretty hard and insane when you play it. A TAS of it could do extremely precise movement and jumping, but then again, it requires mouse to start and go to the next stage.

I don't want to argue against Zanoab's valid argument... but implying that I need help is disgusting from him. I have 18 years old, and I know that all of you will say"behave like your age" and shit, but I was never that guy with social skills, in fact, I lack any ever since I was a kid, being bullied all the time in school and almost with suicidal thoughts on high school, and although I got over that, I was never able to talk to anyone, scared of them to hurt me inside. Then. I come here wanting to be an expert TASer just like adelikat, and wanting to help the site by learning, but of course, all sites have THOSE people. I want to apologize to zeromus, for my behavior, and for my ignorance. I understand now, but that doesn't mean you can't be nice. In fact, you can be a great programmer and good person at the same time of course it won't be easy, but you'll see it will be SO MUCH worth it... not all hope is lost. Admins: I want to be here, I love being here with you and I respect anything that you do, but please understand, I'm not really an average guy coming by, making stupid posts and crappy WIPs, but I think, in the end, I found my place to stay until God let's me to. Sorry for all inconveniences, have a nice day and sorry for my bad english... D;

Kurabupengin, Please realize that the BizHawk team (and probably other coding groups as well) reserves the right to be rude to anyone, for any reason. Accepting this, and also assuming that the reverse situation is not a right (being rude to the BizHawk team, for whatever reason), is probably for the better.
I respectfully disagree with this paragraph. This implies that I cannot say anything with the devs just because they are the devs and they can insult and make fun of me just because they are the devs. That's honestly unfair, realizing their responses and everything else. They shouldn't have that priviledge to insult whatever they want just for being devs. I can get it for the admins, but the admins are the most mature, correct and respectful people I know.He isn't being like this and thus I'm not going to let that go.

OK then you were already answered. There are no links. Pick your open source emulator and play around with it for a year while you learn programming. Do the things we said, or do other things, or do whatever makes you happy. Just do anything. Change all the blue in the emulator to purple. Change all the bleeps to bloops. Then make it print 'bloop' instead of blooping. Then make it write bloops.wav. Fix some things that annoy you. Repeat until you're an expert.

Ok, let me rephrase my question then: One day, I would like to be able to implement a core into BizHawk, where can I start? Technically links could help, and not mean looking answers is nice. BTW, I want to apologize to everybody posting here, I didn't wanted to sound stupid or mean, I just wanted some help and some basic info. Even though zeromus and natt's comments were hurtful but true, I want you to know no hard feelings. (BUT TRY TO BE NICER NEXT TIME, CUZ IT REALLY LOOKED MEAN). Also, my english is fucking terrible, so that didn't helped at all either. SORRY IF I'M WASTING YOUR TIME.

If your TAS is slower, and there's legit proof that it can be optimized better rather easily, why should it be published?
Because the difference is minimal.
It doesn't matter if it is minimal. Considering the big, TASing history of Classic Sonic games, it's pretty significant.

Or.... you can simply just use an input editor as well.

I have some silly question regarding BizHawk. How do you implement a core to it? I know it requires expert programming knowledge and C+ language and stuff but... how it's done? FOR EXAMPLE: If I want to port a Neo Geo Pocket emulator to BizHawk, what should I do, or where do I begin or what are the basics?

I don't have any criticism against the rules here. We just decided not to submit it here :) I mean it's not a crime . if we finally get the video to work, you can check it out
But why not? That's the real question everyone keeps getting.

To be honest, I prefer a submission with ABSOLUTELY NO DESCRIPTION rather than no submission. The only thing the authors SHOULD do is only put the emulator and sync settings, and that's it. No real struggle nor exposing everything the TAS does.

There's this Yellow bootleg that's actually pretty good. It has a bunch of elements from the actual Pokemans games, and it looks pretty. It also has an english translation hack that's going pretty well, so a vault worthy TAS could be made with it.

I don't know if this is still relevant, but... I just found a trick involving Baby DK. You know about that boost thing you can do with him... right? Well, you can boost even further on uphill slopes with tackling+ducking few frames+short jump and you'll get a weird but awesome speed boost. Wonder if an any% TAS could be relevant, if it is, I could give the game a try.

Since the AVGN reviewed this game, does this has potential for a vault TAS? I mean it has delayed controls and everything else crappy, so... it is a good idea?
