Alright, but neither you here.

Then let me rephrase. Between the two of you, you went into a Youtube comments section, called everybody "entitled jackasses", "brainless assholes", and said "I'm waiting for the kids to react to this crap TAS I did," and you in particular pitched a martyrdom fit. And then he/you coming back here to bitch about the comments there not being nice enough, and calling me a shitposter for pointing out that he's kicking the nest. What did the two of you expect would happen? Engaging in the same behavior you're complaining about would cow people into line?
Just consider the amount of time and heart it took me to finish the published run, expecting at least some nice feedback... but no. And the comment I did... it was literal. I legitimately wanted to see what actual kids, fans of Club Penguin, that remember the PSA missions reacted like. Not actual grown up adults making fun of my 15 month TAS. I was pissed, so that comment was indeed misinterpretaded. But FluffyMoth and grassini are right, I shouldn't complain this much... so my apologies to Tangent, derula and Samsa. my english is fucking terrible D;

H-hello guys... I was trying some routes if whatever I find new glitches for a v2 run, until... I found one. A BIG one... I feel like a fucking dumbass. Basically it's a massive route improvement in Mission 9. I overlooked this and I want to apologize. Remember that long search for Herbert's balloon in the Island before going to the Wilderness? I can skip all that crap. How? Well... by just going to the Wilderness right away... I don't know why this works, but it does. Potentially saves 30 seconds, not kidding, so sub 28 is now possible. Um... new submission hype..? yay... T_T

This is the second MMX game. There are 12 physical buttons on the SNES controller. 2*12 = 24. The author's name is Hetfield90. 90 - 24 = 66. 66 turned upside-down is 99. Mega Man has two eyes. 99 is two digits of 9. You know what that means, people?
MM9 TAS confirmed. I'm done.

The problem with the PC is that it isn't submittable, and I want to submit it.

I like it! I feel like it is if Any% and 100% had a baby. Since 100% doesn't include map completion, it makes sense to have a speedrun of that goal. I don't feel the goal is any different than goals like 'All Bosses' or 'All Sidequests'. So, I'm putting Yes because I feel the community should not be discouraged to make runs like this. :-)
I don't mind the category as long as it's distinguishable, entertaining and optimal. From what I read, there's some unoptimized portions in it, and since this is Super Metroid we're talking about, it's questionable. (the category confuses me so much pls hlp me...)

There's a bootleg game called Beast Fighter for the Gameboy, but when I try opening the ROM, BizHawk simply closes (mapper issues?). Any way to fix this? I'm using the latest version.
I've made it so that you get a clear error message and the emu doesn't crash now. I have no idea what bootleg mapper is being used, but it's not supported and that's not likely to change.
Lemme help a little bit, the game runs well on hhugboy, so here's all the ROM info I could find: ROM Name: SACHEN TAIWAN8221 GBC feature: no New licensee: 21 SGB feature: no Cartridge type: 37 ROM size: 4096 KBytes RAM size: 2 KBytes Country: 35 (Non-Japan) Old licensee: 0 (none) Version: 0 Complement check: 7F (OK) Checksum: 16BF Hope it helps...

Note that this is the first truly 3D TASing I've encountered.
What about Glover? Anyways, I'm glad that you're TASing something that isn't a crappy game on an obscure platform or some weird accessory. Hoping to see more!

So I have a question... I've made a verification movie already, but is a Training Missions TAS or a Main Campaign TAS publishable here? I was planning to make one.

Don't count yourself out just yet - your run is being judged by Mothrayas and while he's asked you do do a few things (which you've already made progress on) I think you'll find that he is a fair judge. I say this in the context that I've had a couple of runs judged by Mothrayas and some of them have even been rejected but he's always been a fair judge. I would say more than anything that this submission suffered from a series of miscommunications at the beginning but let some cooler heads prevail. I have not yet completed watching the run but I'll try to provide feedback once I find time to do that. Keep your chin up, and know that we aren't a *bad* community, just... different. :)
Some people here are though... not all of us, just some from my experience. (and admins know who I'm talking about...)

I think it has, I don't know why it isn't displayed. YT tells you when theres no space so it should be no problem.

Once you submit it, one of the encoders can use their linux machine that'll fix audio syncing
I didn't plan on submitting though :/ there's a cutscene skip near the beginning of the run that I didn't use that saves a lot of time (1-2 minutes I think). It wasn't discovered until later on, when I was way past that point. EDIT: I made the video unlisted just because there are so many issues with it and it doesn't look good at all.
You can try submitting. You never know what could happen.

EDIT 2: I'd like to know what speed-entertainment tradeoffs the run actually has. The submission goals mention speed-entertainment tradeoffs but I didn't see any other mention of specific tradeoffs in the submission text.
The run sacrifices frames when moving the cursor, moving it all over the place with the touch screen actually lags the game, and this happens also when the cursor changes sprites.
