Wow... So another Castlevania game can get corrupted. Really nice! Wonder how a TAS using this glitch would look like.

Before Breakin' Da Rurus, there was Enter the Cleft. Link to video Input file: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/18293930010391962 Interesting game. When I saw NAltron's logo in the beggining, I instantly felt interested. Hope you guys and girls like it so far! Feedback appreciated.

http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/18292313353133529 I found some RAM addresses, they do things while moving, so maybe they can have some use... or not.

So is someone working on this? I mean, theres the glitched run, but what about a glitchless run? The glitched run is boring and uninteresting, so a TAS of the full game can be entertaining... just sayin'.

Ok, thanks for pointing this out and... Welcome to TASvideos buddy! :) I have noticed some differences aside from the hit points, so I'll point out what I found so far in Hard mode: -Some enemies have more moves to attack you, which movement strategies have to be carefully planned. -The grenades and fairy powers are more expensive, so I have to get the amount of coins needed to use them. -In every level, you start with less coins than before, so it is harder to get them. -Your life counter reduces quite a bit. -The enemies will spawn differently, not only with difficulties, but with different routes as well. -The lag can be more frequent when theres too many things on screen, and in Hard mode, its kinda harder to avoid completely. Thanks for remembering this to me though :P

http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/18256662154763785 Half of stage 1 already done. Will see if I can kill that fly early... remember that this is Hard mode, so killing enemies is still slower.

Ok, the Ultra Shoot glitch (or Touhou Gun cuz it sounds more awesome) has a pretty weird execution. It depends on your direction, your camera position and frame perfection. Timmy can kill enemies much faster this way, even in hard mode :D So since nobody seems interested in this game, I'm going to make a movie from it... In Hard mode! Wish me luck! or help me find stuff or something... EDIT: Performing this is kinda tricky, you need an input of B+a direction. The direction BEFORE the one you inputted will be the one that the shot will go. For a difference, a shot cycle without the glitch on a second is 4, when the glitch is performed, is more than 20.

Ok guys, now just a couple of minutes ago, I discovered that theres 2 versions of this game, wow. Theres v1.0, which is the USA release, and v1.1 is the European release. After some little examination, v1.1 is faster... with loading times... well... shit. Now restarting this will be tough, since I have to verify all the tricks/glitches I found so far. Well, here goes nothin! *sigh*

Is it really that hard to treat everyone equally? This is a site for talking about emulation and speedrunning. Gender shouldn't matter.
It should matter, in a way by considering on who are we talking to. I mean that you could take consideration on whatever gender you are and answer their responses in the correct way just to not mess up like this again. I'm just talking about respect and learn how to talk to people that are your opposite gender, that's my opinion, I have no idea about yours.

This site definetly needs this feature. I mean, as a dude myself, I want to see if the person is a male or a female, that way I can be more respectful and kind to females and more childish and trollish to guys. P Also, does this have a discussion for the General/Sites Forum? That could be a good idea if you ask me.

http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/18097286621346963 I went back to this game a little bit, and I found some useful RAM addresses for movement (I guess they are) 0201E0D8 is maybe your Horizontal Speed (X Speed). 0201D31C is maybe your Vertical Speed while in the air (Y Speed). 0201D341 is maybe the maximum height you get while jumping (not entirely sure). 0201E0D9 IS your X Position. 02031D7A IS your Y Position. Kinda took me a while to find these, hope its useful to my TASes of this game.

Fun game. ferb is fast. details later. Ok... I finnalley can fullfill info about this game. Its very fun to play, and I was thinking in making a full movie out of it, I already have some strats to get started. First, its kinda similar to Spongebob's Truth or Square, since both games were ported to the DS by Naltron. Now, my strats so far: -Perry is the fastest during normal movement. -With Ferb, charging your A attack will unleash a speed boost that will make x2 the speed of Perry, making Ferb on the charge attack the fastest character. -Phineas can shoot balls multiple times in the air with a special attack, he can kill the bosses and enemies and press switches faster than anyone else. -You can double-jump while falling with any character. -When the camera freezes during a cutscene, you can shoot projectiles at the right timing to damage enemies faster. (Doesn't work all the time.) -The fastest way to switch characters is to stop and in the earliest frame switch to another character and then move forward. -Your weapons get upgraded throughout the game, so Ferb's speed boost endures more than usual. -You can range your moves to get a greater effect. -Skipping Mayor Monogram's advices is a pain. I haven't searched for any addresses (yet), but I made a test movie a long time ago, which is right here, and it sucks. Planning to do this later, but if someone else wants to do it, go ahead. EDIT: So I checked the speedrun.com leaderboards, and the WR is about 3 hours and 13 minutes... yikes... that is REALLY long.
