This glitch is called jumping glitch, as long as mario dont touch the ground he don't will lost speed.

Here's why:
It MUST be with a purple or yellow shell. If you try with red or green, Yoshi just eats it.
You have to be on Yoshi and have a fire flower.
I don't know if this is new or not, but I haven't seen it before. Feedback would be nice, and stuff.
while TASing on SMW, I was with a green shell on Yoshis mouth, then I throw it off. It just have turned into a coin, because I completed the level, and then I swallow, it make my green yoshi apear a wing.

1) You can get blocks to be cloned when the x speed of an item is 0 and you stick the item into the block by a certain amount of pixels. To make the item's x speed zero, mario's x speed should be 0 or 1 (but not -1), and kicking it up nearby the block would sometimes make you succeed in cloning it.
