Great work. Glad to see a well done TAS of demo%. There is a bit more known about the game than is mentioned in the submission message. Here's a link to the speedrun.com page: https://www.speedrun.com/Porky_Pigs_Haunted_Holiday/guides I've used this game as a starting point for learning more about TAS, SNES memory, and speedrunning in general. I'm sure other people with more experience can easily expand on my notes from messing around with this game.

I have worked on ''demo glitch'' TAS and comparing by framecounter (from the beginning of the second half of stage 5 until the end input on the last boss), it's 477 frames faster on these levels (actually I improved more paths on stage 6, but lost due of a global timer on the chain swings - you need to wait until the rope reaches exactly where is possible to proceed - on the first bathroom room). Another possible improvement for all levels is more lag reduction. Link: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/62287509/porkypigshauntedholiday-demoglitch.bk2 (almost completely optimized. Some more lag reduction could be possible, I think)
I definitely think demo % is a better way to show this game. Besides setting up skip to stage 5, there's much less down time. I'm very happy to see it optimized with new routes and tricks. Since this demo % TAS is obviously better than the full TAS, should I remove from consideration the full TAS? Or, is it at all useful archived or something?

I was a bit sloppy before starting the first stage. It wasn't until late into the TAS that I learned they were timed from system on and not from the start screen. That and a few minor things I noticed later in the run didn't seem worth going back and fixing due to the fact I would have to change most everything after them. Since a frame difference would mean different weather/background on every stage of the game. And that would cause each screen to load slower/faster by a few frames to many frames. And that would cause the swinging chains and balls to be in different places. Edit: I did compare the stages to the other TAS, to be sure I wasn't messing up. I think everyone stage but The Mines was faster. The Mines just lined up terribly and I couldn't fix that without messing up The Alps. I tried to get the best weather, chain swings, and swinging balls I could.

If I recall, I grabbed it from there because you rise at such a rate that you'd hit the spikes if you grabbed it from the top. I could be remembering wrong.

I made a crappy encode. https://youtu.be/ZXjr01LEVdc I don't know that this game will ever be interesting to watch. This is just what I had after I was done messing around learning how to TAS. Learned a few things, and it is quite a bit faster than the old one.
