The time() implementation that ended up static-linked in Diablo handles the overflow correctly, games will continue to vary between 19 jan 2038 and 01 jan 2039 :) For example a game started at 2038-11-18 16:34:50: and one started approximately a minute later: When advancing the clock to a date in 2039 though you end up stuck on this layout:
